This is my first drone, so I can’t compare it to anything else, but for $110 I figured it wouldn’t be too big of a loss if I crashed or lost it. I am really impressed! It is incredibly easy to fly! I read a lot of the negative reviews that said it flies off on its own, which mine did once, but it was because I took off when it didn’t have a good gps signal. I recovered it & now I make sure I have a good gps signal before I take off. Since then I haven’t had a problem. For the price, I am incredibly impressed!!!

It started out good and I would have given the unit 4-5 stars for the impress amount of functions versus cost and the flight quality for a drone in the $100 range. I did all the calibrations and all my flights started from my home and I flew it 5 times. I set the drone up per instructions, compass, gyro and geomagnetic sensors calibrated and confirmed successful. The first four flights the drone performed as it should and I was really happy with this purchase. It sent really nice video and still photos and it actually records sound which most drones don’t. The flights were stable and the drone was really easy to control. On the last flight it launched with 14 satellite signals and I was controlling the drone with the controller (no flight modes active) it was about 200 ft above ground and less than 800 ft away. It was a slightly cloudy day with winds less than 3mph. Everything was good and then the drone veered left and headed on a flight path due east even though I was controlling it to bank right and head south. The drone would not take any commands from the joy stick once this happened. I think it decided it was just going to head home to China for some reason. This thing just took off even though I had a strong signal, direct line of sight and the antennas pointed correctly at the drone (no other drones, rc cars or radio interferences and the only signal interference in my area is a standard household power line to the house that the drone was no where near). I tried several times using the return home button once the joysticks became unresponsivewith no change in the drones direction even though the controller showed I was connected and video was still being received. I finally lost sight of the defiant runaway along with controller signal and the video stream. However once the signal was lost from the controller the drone should have done as designed and returned home since I had well over the minimum satellites required for this feature to work. The controller and the drone battery both had over 90% charge as this error occurred within 4 minutes after takeoff. The thing just decided “I’m outta here, see ya” and went rogue. I don’t know if it is was some kind of software glitch but I will never find out because that thing is totally missing in action. It was great while it lasted but I can’t recommend the unit unless you don’t mind a few flights and then it decides it wants a divorce from you without any discussion or warning and just packs up and leaves you.

Good drone for this price range. This is my 6th drone and I wanted something that was small with a decent camera. The camera quality surprised me with good video quality. The gyroscope functions paired with the satellite positioning allows this drone to fly with stability and accuracy of drones twice the price. I recommend it for the budget minded over other drones that I have tried in this price range.

I’d give it 5 stars but the gps is slow to acquire a fix and often loses its fix even in clear sky view. I have other gps devices with less of a sky view that don’t have the same issue. It flies nicely with minor lag. Controls are comfortable and easy to use. Controller battery life is good. Drone battery life is slightly less than advertised but with 3 batteries included, it doesn’t matter. Stability in low speed winds is good (< 5 mph) but over that it becomes very twitchy. Camera quality is good. Fun to fly and it costs so much less than the cheapest DJI, you are not afraid to try something new and crash. Which brings me to that it’s very durable so far too. I haven’t even used the extra blades even after a few incidents.

I mean for $100 what did I expect. Works, great beginner unit but I would not use it for professional or stable video/photos. More of a toy really. When you set it to a position to hover it move around a lot and will drift off a bit. Better use it in large open spaces. Camera needs a gyro for as much as it moves around as the videos are shaky. Range is decent in open spaces but I tried to fly around my garage and lost signal as it went behind the garage. The camera feed is WiFi to your phone so that might be part of it. 90 minutes run time is a bit misleading... it's 30min per battery and it comes with 3 batteries. Says it has a follow me feature which I have not tried yet but without collision avoidance I'd be afraid to use it. So all in all if you want just a drone to play with.... then try it out but if your looking for the professional looking videos and photos might want to step it up a bit.

Easy to fly and control, just like anything else takes a little practice at the beginning to get used to the controls but has a great hover option if you’re not flying it and landing is automatic once you push the landing button.
