Just added a camera

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Already use the MyQ remote app for my garage door so when my original keypad died , this was a perfect option. Same app, same price, plus a camera. The battery life is not that great so I recommend a spare. Swapping them out takes a minute.

A rechargeable battery is an essential accessory for your myQ video keypad

Unless you go through the expensive process of hard wiring your myQ garage video keypad, you will need this myQ rechargeable battery. About once a month, I receive a message via the myQ app that my battery level is below 30%. At that time, I simply swap out the partially drained myQ battery for a fully charged one. The process is very easy and only takes a couple of minutes.

It's a Great item but sure is sensitive to the hot and cold to much for an outdoor item performance has great potential installation was piece of cake item quality was perfect except for when it's in outdoor conditions ease of use is easy as it gets sizes perfect not too bulky connectivity is no problems there because of how it's contact works with electrifying the device performance can vary in outdoor conditions

Always have a back up… or two

All new Homeowners need this additional battery back pack for my garage device. It’s is very useful since I do not have the solar powered adapter. I will hug ave to do my research to get that installed. Thank you MyQ for being a great garage device/system. Definitely will recommend to others.

Still good after a year

I bought a second battery since they take so long to charge. Been swapping them for 1-2 years so far, gets it done. Would recommend. They last about a month on a charge, depending on the outdoor temperature. A little less in the cold.
