I've been hearing ads for this pillow on TV and radio for years now. I don't normally buy "infomercial" stuff though, and I thought the claims on this had to be too good to be true. But no, I was actually wrong. I finally broke down and got one because I have to wear a CPAP mask now for sleep apnea, and I was trying to find anything to make the night go better. I've used MyPillow for a number of nights now, and these are everything they say they are. In fact, right after I got the pillow I let my wife try it, and she liked it so much she stole it for her afternoon nap. I wasn't even the first one to get to use my own pillow! So that's why I'm back on amazon... I'm buying another for her, and figured I might as well write a review. MY OPINION ABOUT ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS I was almost afraid to buy this because of all the negative reviews, but I'm glad I did. While I'm sure some of the negative reviews truly are reasonable and just based on preference, many are dumb. Let me take some of the common ones: 1. "Pillow is flat." Yes, they come that way, and it specifically says on the wrapping to put them in the dryer for 15 minutes minimum before using. The heat makes the foam expand, and fluffs them up. So this is a "failure to follow directions" complaint. Or else, they bought the wrong product. The "Yellow" (least firm), and "White" (next least firm) pillow models are designed to be pretty flat so that stomach sleepers or small women/children can use them. You want a super big, puffy pillow? You should be buying "Green" or "Blue." 2. "Pillow is lumpy." Yes, but not in a bad way AT ALL. The pillow is made of three different sizes of foam pieces. Rub the pillow together between your fingers, and you will feel unevenness, because you might be feeling a small piece one instant, and a larger piece the next. Again, this is by design. When you actually lay on it, you don't feel lumps on your face. The foam pieces give and even out, and it just feels like a smooth super soft cushion. I think most people complaining it is "lumpy" probably felt it out of the box, decided that since it feels uneven they were just going to return it, and probably didn't actually try sleeping on it. This is NOT a hard lumpy pillow by ANY stretch of the imagination. 3. "I got a fake, because [insert your reason here]." These comments are just dumb. Look who the seller is on this page. It's "MyPillow Inc." It's not some third party. They send pillows to Amazon from their factory and Amazon sells them. Just like when you buy MyPillow in any other store. You are not getting a Chinese fake. 4. "The pillow is not supportive." Well, this again is probably due to a failure to follow directions or order the right product. It could be not supportive because someone didn't follow directions and put it in the dryer to fluff it up. Or, it might be that they didn't do their research on the MyPillow site and make sure they got the right "color" of pillow. Each of the different colors represents a different level of fill, or firmness. Here's a rule of thumb: if you are a child or small person who is a stomach sleeper, get Yellow, the least firm. If you are a stomach sleeper or back sleeper, White, the next most firm, is probably what you want (this is what I use as a primary stomach sleeper and secondary back sleeper, but it will most likely NOT provide you proper support if you are side sleeper, particularly if you are a 250 lb broad shouldered guy like me and try to sleep on your side). If you are a larger back sleeper or a regular sized side sleeper, get Green, the next most firm. And if you are a large person who is a side sleeper, get blue, the most firm. If you try to sleep on your side and get yellow or white, for example, you are GOING to wake up with neck pain due to lack of support, because you didn't get a firm enough pillow. 5. "This isn't the same pillow I saw at [insert person's house]." Possibly it isn't, but it's very close. This pillow is the "classic" model. You can only find it here and in some stores... the MyPillow website only sells "Premium." There's really only one minor difference between premium and classic: premium has a "gusset", and classic doesn't. A "gusset" is an extra strip of fabric between the two halves of the pillow, rather than just sewing the two halves of the pillow directly together, as the classic model does. In theory, this might be useful in a very firm pillow for shaping purposes, but it doesn't seem essential. Otherwise, they are basically the same, using the same foam, same size of pieces, and same color system. I have a "White" pillow in the classic style, and I love it. I have no need of a gusset, it's great just the way it is. I hope this dispels some of the bad information on here. I didn't start out to be such a fan, but I love this product, and if you spend the time making sure you get the right color for yourself, and follow directions when you get it, you will probably love it also.

Let me start by saying I did not receive this product free or even for a discount in exchange for my honest review. I paid for it on Prime Day. Also should say I am a complete skeptic when it comes to products that make big claims. I've been seeing the commercial for this pillow a long time now. Every single time I would see it, I'd think, yeah, right. And then I'd think, well, you've tried everything else, might as well give it shot. I just never pulled the trigger. I've spent as much as $130 on a single pillow. So, I'm not sure why I hesitated so long. I've been chasing relaxation and a good night's sleep since I was 19. (I will not say how long ago that was...suffice it to say, it was not yesterday.) I am an extremely tense person. I carry all my tension in my neck and shoulders. So tense I've been refused a deep tissue massage because as the masseuse said, "I cannot do that to you, it would kill you. Your muscles are way too tight and full of knots. It would be too painful." So, we now have 2 things I've tried, several different pillows from $20 all the way to $130, and massage. Those didn't work. Also tried meditation, and some aromatherapy spritz stuff you spray on your pillow to induce relaxation and sleep, that was desperate. The husband bought me some relaxation CD's with some woman talking all calm and smooth telling me to go to my happy place. Got a sound machine, tried rain, that only sent me to the bathroom all night. Tried white noise, that just sounds like TV after the National Anthem (that gave away my round about age, didn't it?) Or maybe like, "They're Here". Which does not exactly induce sweet dreams. Hate to say, but, I've even tried medication. Nothing worked. Everyone close to me is constantly telling me, "you just need to relax". Well, thank you, Mr. Obvious! If I knew how to do that, I would have done it years ago. So, I'm not just perpetually tense, I'm tense to the point that other people notice. I am in constant pain from my neck and shoulders. I battle with myself all day long. I'll catch myself with my shoulders up around my ears and I tell myself, relax!! Put, your shoulders down. And I will, for about a hot minute. And then I'll do it again, then tell my self again, then do it again, you get the point... After all these years of this, I now have back pain too - maybe from years of other muscles having to overcompensate for something? So, a lot of times, I find myself winding up trying to sleep downstairs on the couch to keep my restlessness from waking the husband. So, when I decided, what the heck on Prime Day and ordered the My Pillow, I got the standard size. A king would just hang off the couch too much. And it might be pain to keep it from falling off. So, the My Pillow gets here. it seems flat and really lumpy. So, my skepticism is reinforced. But, I forge ahead, I have already spent the money. I put it in the dryer for 15 minutes like it said. It comes out of the dryer WAY poofy. Now, I'm thinking this is going to kill my neck, it's way too thick. And by the way, it still feels really lumpy. But, still, again, I have to try it at this point. So, I lay down and put my head on this pillow, and I kid you not, I LITERALLY felt all the tension in my neck and shoulders drain away. I couldn't believe It! A little bit later my husband comes in and condescendingly says, "So, let me see see this magic pillow". So, I throw it to him. First thing he says is, "How much did you pay for this? It's so lumpy!" - "I don't care. It's the best thing ever." - "Whatever." - "Try it" So, he puts it behind his head while he's sitting up in his big wingback chair. "OMG (he didn't say the letters, I abbreviated), I'm taking this." - "Um, no you are not". "I'm gonna fall asleep right here" - "Um, no, you are not." - "My pillows suck." - "Um, yes, they do." So, 2 king size are already ordered. I only have to protect this one for 5 days until he gets his. Only problem now is, what do I do when I travel? I can get the roll and go ones, that I have already researched. Or I can take an extra piece of luggage just to hold the pillow. Or I could just drag it through all the airports like Linus does his blanket. I will figure something out, because I am not going anywhere with out MY My Pillow!

Ordered the My Pillow Classic, receieved the 2.0 The fill is absolutely horrendous. Imagine someone took foam and turned it into powder form.. that's what's inside this pillow. (I looked 🤠) There is absolutely zero support and the fill slides around inside the pillow like a sack of sawdust. Threw it in the dryer numerous times and it looks like it's going to be comfy, then you lay your head on it and you immediately just hit the bed under the pillow. The queen/standard size, is about the size of a travel pillow as well. Would not recommend. For the same cost, I was able to buy a Casper pillow which I would 100000% recommend over this.

My husband has one of the original “My Pillows” but the one I ordered has a lot less filling so , it goes flat during the night but we deal with it.

Regardless, this is the best pillow I’ve ever found. It’s so versatile that you can always figure out how to use it. I ordered two, but unfortunately, my family stole one. Another family stole one, and then I had to order another just so I could get them two for Christmas so they could finish the set. Haha! I really love this pillow.

This pillow is fantastic for me. I have neck and shoulder pain and sleeping on this pillow makes all the difference. When I wake up, my neck and shoulders feel so much better. I ordered the queen soft pillow. It is ideal for me. I have other sleep pillows that are rock hard and really hurt my neck and shoulders. I can't say enough about this pillow it is wonderful for me.
