=== Packaging === The bag was folded, wrapped in plastic, and shipped in a shipping bag. The bag also shipped with an elastic band that keep the bag folded. We ordered the medium-size, green interior bag but the orange interior bag was shipped. === Construction === The bag is made of nylon. It comes with three dividers that have hook and loop sewn in. The inside of the bag has two strips of hook and loop sewn into the sides, allowing the dividers to attach. There are zippered pockets inside the top of the lid, a side compartment for a tablet or small laptop, and a hook and loop fastened pocket on the right side. On the outside, there is a shoulder strap, handle straps with a closing fastener, straps across the top, and a single handle strap on the back. There is a zippered pocket on the front and right side, and a hook and loop fastened pocket on the left side. Inside of the front zipper compartment has additional organization for small items and pens/stylus/etc. The front pocket also has an additional zipper pocket for flat items, maybe tickets or business cards. === Set Up === I removed the elastic band and unfolded, and unzipped the bag. You will need to remove the tag and attach the shoulder strap. The dividers are flexible as far as their placement. === Use === I used this bag to carry mics and triggers. It held 9 mics, one cymbal trigger, two bar triggers, and various hardware and mic holders. It also carried some mic mounting hardware like goosenecks and rack mounts. === Summary === The dividers could use better hook and loop fastening implementation. They only attach about a 1/2" square on the top and bottom of the divider. I have other bags that use pre-sewn vertical strips about every two inches. They keep the dividers in place. Also, the dividers could use some rigid material on the inside for support. The padding on the inside and outside is very good. I didn't feel like any of my mics would be damaged using this bag. The bag itself is floppy. It could stand to have some type of rigid material sewn into the exterior walls. When I tried to load the bag, I kept having to hold up the side to load it. I didn't use the inside top pockets because the weight would pull the bag over towards the back. I learned to load the interior first. I found that the top straps, although helpful in a traveling mode, just got into the way. When they weren't buckled, the straps dangled in front of the bag, generally getting into the way. I plan on removing them. There's a single handle strap sewn into the back of the back. I can see where this might be useful if storing on a shelf or in an airplane overhead compartment. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend using it to carry the bag as the contents will probably shift around too much. Overall, I think this is a useful and convenient bag that will protect your equipment, with lots of places to put things. The front also has a hook and loop are to attach patches. ... show more

    • There are so many pockets and pouches, I'm lost!

First, what I did not like: 1. I received a black bag with neon orange inside/trim and later learned there was one with neon green trim. I would have liked that more - so be aware there are different colors available. 2. The bag was slightly smaller in person than I'd pictured it. These are both very minor complaints. Now the good stuff: WOW! There are plenty of pockets, dividers, pouches, straps, zippers ... it can be overwhelming. I will try to detail these: On the outside front: - there is a zippered pouch the full length of the bag. - inside that pouch are two small zippered pockets along the outer (inside) edge - inside are also two plastic (open) pockets - inside is a sewed piece of elastic that resembles a shotgun cartridge holder (maybe this can hold XLR adapters, mini flashlights, or backup kazoos?) - on the outside of this large zippered pocket is a smaller zippered pouch - ... and something that resembles a MOLLE fixture. - On the left end of the bag is a velcro pouch that feels as if it were lined in velvet. - On the right end of the bag is a zippered pouch. - The back of the bag has a luggage strap. - Under the lid/top flap of the bag are two zippered pouches: one clear plastic pouch and one mesh pouch. - inside the main pocket, along the back is a full-length pocket secured with a velcro strap. When the bag arrived there are three (3) velcro-edged dividers in the pocket. - inside the main pocket, to the right, is another velcro'd pouch. - the inner edges of the bag are lined with velcro strips for the dividers. On the outside of the bag, a zipper closes the "lid" of the bag, two buckled straps further secure the lid, there are two handles (one on the back, one on the front) like a duffel bag, and a shoulder strap connects across the left and right sides of the bag with metal closures. This bag is designed well for the many cables, cords, adapters, picks, drumsticks, pedals, and other odds and ends performing musicians have to carry from gig to gig. They did well. ... show more

    • Great Bag, its big for a medium.

This is an excellent quality bag with very nice stitching and quality materials. I like how it’s slightly rigid and keeps in shape even when empty. The dividers could use a little more secure connection options but it’s not really a camera bag so the trade-off is it’s much easier to configure. There’s just not a lot of surface area to the Velcro. But the bag itself is incredibly solid with sufficient pockets and dividers. I do wish the dividers were a little thicker and that there was more Velcro to mount them. I would’ve also liked one more divider. I know gig bags and the thing is this it’s very roomy for a medium and quality of the bag is as nice as I have seen in a bag of this type. The stitching is reinforced where it needs to be and the padding is adequate. This will protect your microphones and chords without a doubt. It has several expansion options with the tactical tape connecting straps and the bright orange material makes it very easy to see your items in contrast to the interior of the bag. ... show more

This gig bag is a thick and padded nylon construction. It has pockets everywhere -- one on the inside right side; two in the inside flap; one on the outside at each end; two more in the fold open front flap; and a zipper pocket over top of that flap. The outside of the bag is black with orange zipper pulls. The inside is a bright orange lining, which will make it easy to find items that get hidden in the bag.
