    • My girls love their new MLP set.
My girls (ages 8 & 5) are long-time fans of My Little Pony, so ordering the My Little Pony Smashin’ Fashion Party Park was an easy choice. As expected, my girls love this set. They frequently play with Pinkie Pie and DJ Pon-3, even managing to keep the ponies with all the clothes. The only disappointment was the “smashin’ fashion” did not work as advertised. Smashing the packages is supposed to inflate the balloons inside which in turn cause the apparel accessory and balloon to pop out of the package. They smashed the packages, but the packages broke open before the balloons inflated. So, the pony clothes came out on their own and we pulled out the uninflated balloons. They kept smashing the balloons which eventually inflated, just not when they were supposed to. Bottom Line: I am disappointed that the “smashin’ fashion” did not work as planned, but my girls love their new My Little Pony Fashion Set. The toys are fun and nothing has broken yet. This collectable toy contains two characters from the very popular My Little Pony series, which includes toy characters, TV shows, and video games. These are guaranteed to bring a smile. The set includes several silicone dresses, shoes, and other accessories. The "smashin' fashion" pieces were a tad confusing. You open the square packages (I had to use scissors) and inside are a dress and an inflatable. Only one out of the four packages actually inflated for me although I massaged and folded and did everything I could to try to activate them without opening. I did not find anything inside the inflatable besides powder and a liquid that activated the powder, causing soda-like bubbles to inflate the package. I would be concerned about making a mess with the liquid and powder, so you might want to do this outside. As I said, there wasn't any accessory inside the inflatable package, so the point seemed to be just to have something to smash. Since only one out of the four actually activated, I only gave the packaging three stars. However, as a fan of My Little Pony cuteness, I still give the collection five stars. The style of the outfits matched the photos, but the colors did not, so you will not see exactly the same clothing. The best part is that the ponies are poseable and can be morphed between the traditional ponies standing on four legs and the two-legged Equestrian girls! The heads bend up like a horse so that the characters can be balanced to stand in either position. ... show more
