The only thing missing is a coin slot. I’ve played other space invaders clones and none of them have the feel of the original arcade console like this does. This is the real game only smaller.

This has to be My Arcade's best replica from their series of retro portables. The cabinet looks outstanding and they even got the screen thing right, which means one looks down at an angle to see things. The only flaw, which all My Arcade games have, no high score list, and no point in doing one since once the units are powered off they'd lose the list anyways unless they used some kind of micro storage, which would just drive the price up. ... show more

Seems to be a well built machine, and given the mirrored effect on the backdrop, it looks faithful to the original, however mine came with some strange circle inside on the mirror that I can't get to in order to take it out without some serious dissecting of the machine, and even then I'm not sure I wouldn't end up breaking it trying to get it open. I went so far as to remove the four screws on the back but it still won't budge. It would have been an enjoyable experience had it not been for this problem. Quality control is not what it used to be because people in general just don't give a damn. I will be returning this. ... show more
