  • fits drive shaft but cannot use standard 1.5 mm hex screw. no through shaft option
it is held together by tiny c-clips. I assume eventually I will drag a rock across one perfectly and I will lose that special pin and these will become useless without repair . hoping to superglue them in place. look pretty but are very low tolerance to fit and rather fat. if its a clearance issue be weary with these as they are fatter than the stock plastic and far fatter than a 50$ high carbon steel with a skinny shaft and high tolerances . seem like they will be strong enough for crawling as they are metal, just weeny pins and no pin keepers. not for speed runs though. these things are loosey goosey. sloppy and loud. but I dont care about that, you cant hear them at 1mph over the motor and tranny noises. seem to work at a very high angle. haven't tested in the field yet. ... show more

  • Good for the price
Well for the price of these driveshafts they seem to be pretty good for what they are.. i have these on a scx10 with a brushless motor out of a savage flux hp and so far are holding up great with no issues.. wear as before i couldnt even get threw a battery pack without brraking the plastic driveshafts. The only thing about these are they are loud and make alot of noise but they are holding up to all the power of my brushless set up.. will update if any breakege or issues show up but for now i like them and will recomend them ... show more

  • Brushed crawler shafts
I put these on my 1.9 wraith, I ordered them thinking I wasn't going to use then on anything and for the price I gave it a shot. Perfect fit on the 1.9 wraith which means it should fit a scx10ii kit or RTR. I definitely wouldn't put these on a rig with a powerful brushless but for brushed they are fine and way better than stock axial shafts. one suggestion is take the pins that come in the stock shafts and use those on these shafts instead of the grub screws they provide. ... show more

  • Sloppy, huge clearance from inner and outer tubes.
If you like super sloppy drivelines, these are yours.... Honestly they are so sloppy and crunchy sounding I will not use them. The inner tube to outer tube has so much of a gap that if you tried using them at any speed, they'd vibrate the machine to death. Not good

  • Loud w/ use but for the money they work fine
So far they fit well and work well. The packaging was horrid and all but one set was lost in its travels to my home. The package wasn't torn just packed like crap and missing set screws. I prefer the pin type anyway so would not of used regardless. Only ran them for a few hours but held up well. They are sloppy and noisy but for the money they work and make great spares for the tool box. I would buy again I thi k ... show more

  • Product works. But needs improvement.
It seems solidly built. However, the vendor should have added additional retaining screws. I have only four. I saw some selling with eight. You see as other reviewers noted the retainer does not go through ( the pin is only on one side). So that if the tiny pins they supplied loosened your done. This is what happen the first time I run my scx10 with it. I did not lose pin but the hassle of re-doing is a waste of time. After re-thightening the whole thing it is still holding on. I hope it will stay on this time. ... show more

  • Looks good from a distance.
These have very crude machining. The pins that hold them together are not installed very thoroughly. There is a lot of play in the shafts which will cause them to wear fast.
