Whoever designed these cat trees designed them with ACTUAL adult cats in mind. It is not narrow. It is not small. It's the perfect average 8-11lb cat size. Even my larger cats can move around with ease on it. It has a solid base and for the price is actually impressive. Before this one I had bought another similarly priced cat tree from a different seller and even my 6lb adult cat has trouble moving around on that one. This is a great cat tree for the narrow space I had in mind for it. Was also easy to assemble. My two boys love watching the birds outside from the various levels, and my big boy here in the pic loves to squeeze into the little cubby hole. One of them is always on it, napping or surveying their domain. I'm mindful of some of the reviews saying the lower legs came a little loose, so I always move it around carefully from the base. No issues so far. Also, because it's by the window, I didn't use the stability strap to attach it to the wall, but despite that, my wild teenage kitties haven't been able to knock it over. I knew this cat tree would be perfect for my cats. They love it. It is a good height, and even not secured to the wall it is sturdy and hardly moves. I feel confident that it will not tip over easily if it does at all. The hammock is securely attached between the posts and holds the weight of my heavier cat. It is secure enough that I am sure it could hold two of my bigger cat. My cats enjoy the three attached ball toys, and it also came with two mice toys that I assume are to replace any of the ball toys when they are inevitably torn into. Assembly was easy. The only problem I had was that all pieces of the same size have the same label, despite being different colors. I had to check the listing picture to make sure I was putting them in the correct spots. A pleasant surprise was that the assembly instructions also include a guide on how to turn the box the cat tree came in into a little playhouse for the cats. I have not yet done that, but I have kept the box to do so. This is a great cat tree, which I gladly recommend. If the measurements fit where you’re wanting to put it and you think your cats will like it, I say go for it. ... show more

Easy to assemble, only took about 30 min to build - be sure to keep the one longer screw separate from the 15 other screws!! Our cats are big fat American cats (~15lbs each), but it holds both of their weight easily and without me worrying it’s gonna collapse on them. This was definitely meant for tinier kitties, but that hasn’t stopped them from breaking it in! ... show more
