The description for these state 8-14 year olds, but I would say they're really made for 14 year olds and older. The size on these for my 8 year old is way too big. So as a result, they don't really stay put in active uses, such as wearing them during baseball which is what they're made for. I needed some good sunglasses for cycling. The glasses came with a lens cloth and cloth bag to carry and store the sunglasses. I have a very narrow face and these (kid sized) glasses fit me perfectly. These sunglasses are of great quality, very comfortable and are properly sized for youth. We purchased similar ones but they are always way too big and just look funny. Not these, they’re perfect! My son uses them when playing outfield in baseball and they work very well. The polarized lenses provide a clear view in brighter conditions. I got these for my 10 year old son to wear mountain biking. He find them comfortable and they stay on well during his rides. He is happy with the sun filtering effect and likes how they sit off his face a little, so they don't get too sweaty. He's happy and they feel like they will last.

These are nice sunglasses. They fity 8 year old son nicely. I haven't tested out the polarized lenses to confirm if they're polarized or not. Regardless, like I said, these are for an 8 year old boy.
