Bought the watch due to MVMT advertising on podcasts I listen to. I realized this watch was garbage after about 2 minutes on my wrist. The good: The packaging is very nice. It’s made of a leather type material, the watch is padded, and it comes with extra links in case you need them. Very good presentation. The band is heavy and doesn’t feel as cheap as other watches with heavy cases but light bands. The bad: The finish was graining and sandy, not smooth at all. My Fossil and Citizen both have a matte finish like this watch but are still smooth to the touch. This watch just doesn’t feel finished. The band feels sturdy and heavy, but the watch itself doesn’t. The pin is rough to pull out and set the time with, and the “crystal” doesn’t look like crystal at all. The ugly: After deciding to return this, I went online because I felt like I was crazy. These MVMT watches are talked about all over, so I needed to see if other people felt the way I did about these watches. What I found just pissed me off. It turns out MVMT just buys cheap Chinese watches for $5 each, stamps their name on them, and marks the price up by 1000% (not an exaggeration). They say they eliminate the middle man, but the truth is hey are the middle man. This company is scamming people out of their money. For the same amount of money, you have several options of watches from reputable brands, and you’ll actually get a quality piece. As I mentioned earlier I already have a fossil and citizen. I ended up returning this and purchased a seiko recraft for just a little bit less. I’ll never purchase an MVMT watch again and I’d encourage you to do just a little bit of research before giving these con artists your money. ... show more

    • Glass defective; pain in the ass to deal with company.

The glass cracked about a month in, without me doing anything physical in the watch (I happened to notice it after getting out of a car ride). Edit: I lowered the rating even more bc the crack was from the inside of the watch due to a manufacturing defect, yet when I contacted them to fix it they said "we don't fix glass, it's not covered." After quoting their own warranty to them and pointing out manufacturing defects are covered, they said they'd send me a new glass free and I should go fix it myself, absorbing the cost of changing the glass and time/hassle spent getting it done. After more arguing, they agreed to cover the cost of changing the glass, but I'm still left with the responsibility of getting their own manufacturing defect fixed. IT IS NOT OK TO PUT YOUR COSTOMERS THROUGH THIS!! ... show more

Unless you want a cheap-looking, cheaply made, ridiculously overpriced, plastic and cheap Chinese steel-made watch. When putting the watch down, it makes that high, hollow sound that everyone on earth associates with a low-quality product. The only thing premium about this watch is the packaging. DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH!!!! I bought the Cocotina Men's Fashion Leather Band Wrist Watch Quartz Watch (Brown), part number WT0085c, at the same time I bought this MVMT watch because I had a suspicion and it turns out it's the exact same watch. Literally the only difference is the packaging and the letters MVMT stamped onto the watchface of the $95.00 version. This is a $7.95 watch that MVMT is selling for $95. I received this piece of junk around 1:30 pm on October 28, 2016 and immediately started a return for a refund after unboxing and trying it on. Shame on you, MVMT.     • Not worth it - Not water resistant
I bought this to replace my current watch face - only because its cheap and I previously bought all the bands. Its poorly made. One time swimming and the case leaked; not even 3ft deep and the thing got destroyed. Rusted out, full of condensation, etc. This watch wasn't even a year old. Like I said, I bought another face just to maximize the bands Ive already purchased. I wont be buying anything from MVMT again, and I suggest the same for whoever reads this. Its a cheap product; and by 'cheap' I don't mean just the price. ... show more

I've owned this watch for a year and a half, and it's already been replaced once because it stopped keeping time. It's a shame, because I've received more compliments on its appearance than all the other watches I've ever owned combined. Unfortunately, the replacement has also stopped working and I don't care how pretty a watch is if it doesn't keep time. ... show more

I love the look of the watch, but at the end of the day, I wear it for functionality. I had to order this product twice, both times the watch broke sooner than I feel it should have. The frist time I ordered the watch, I tried to set the time. When I pulled the crown out to adjust, the entire thing came completely out of the watch. I was able to send the watch back and they sent me a new one, so they deserve credit there. The second watch I ordered lasted about a year and a half without any issues. After that, the watch would randomly stop. To fix, you had to either pull the crown out and back in again, or lightly tap the watch on a hard surface. As time went on, I had to tap the watch harder to get it to work again, until recently I was loudly banging the side of the watch in hopes to get it started again. The battery is fine, as occasionally it would start up again, only to stop again. Its been 3 years since I've ordered the watch, and at this point I'll just order a different one from a separate company. I expected a higher quality watch considering the price. ... show more
