This is my first watch. I got as a gift and it is way too big. Now that I am into watches I can definitely say the quality on this watch compared to other well known brands especially at the price point is not good. It's way too big at 47 mm and the crown digs into your wrist causes comfort issues for your wrist, making it difficult to wear. The hardened mineral crystal appears to lack the necessary impact resistance for your usage, a common observation compared to more durable materials like sapphire glass. My glass broke not too long after I got it from a minor bump. The clasp and bracelet construction did not hold up well over time and does not lock into place that well anymore. This watch performs as a fashion piece rather than a higher-quality timepiece. I contacted MVMT to have it fixed, but they do not offer no parts or repair services either which sucks. Never buying a MVMT watch. Stick with SEIKO, CASIO or other well known brands. ... show more

I purchased the MVMT Blacktop Astro Blue after comparing it with dozens of watches from other manufacturers. I own/wear Movado watches and decided to minimize wear and tear on them and buy a new watch for day to day use. In my opinion, the recent MVMT and Movado company partnership just adds value to the MVMT product, which I had already concluded was the best product in this price point. Deciding which MVMT watch was easy for me, never once did I waver from the Astro Blue from the 1st time I saw it on the TV commercial. However, I can definitely see why some may struggle with their final pick-the MVMT watches all look hot! In closing- I'm even more impressed that 2 guys in their mid 20's started the "MVMT" company, worked hard and Movado came knocking with a cool $100M and another $100M if the train keeps rolling. The watch looks nice except for the fact that the face of the watch is covered by a domed glass. My husband prefers the flat glass. I’ll have to be more careful when I order these.
