I do manual labor (carpentry, landscaping, etc) spilled exterior latex paint on the not so flexible but extremely tough band (that conforms within a few days to the wrist) and it washed off easily. I purchased this watch for my husband. He wore it while we were snorkeling in the Atlantic ocean and it truly is water resistant. I only gave four stars for “easy to read“ because the hands of the watch glow in the dark, but not the numbers. If the numbers glowed in the dark it would be easier to read in low lighting. Overall, it is a great watch! The watch band is a neutral olive green color, the face is minimalistic, the watch is subtly handsome and can be worn with casual or business clothes. Disappointing. My fiance loved the watch and how it fit! Then after wearing it for one day the hands stopped moving. After paying about half the price of my MVMT watch in repairs, having it shipped back to me unfixed, and then FINALLY getting a watch that works 6 months later, they sent back a watch with a new face that did not have my engraved back on it. The engraved back was returned in a separate bag still attached to the old, not working face. No explanation. Despite my clear note that I wanted the engravement kept. Communication throughout the entire process was unresponsive most of the time and it’s strictly through their online form. Would NOT recommend!!! ... show more

I bought the watch and had some issues with the batteries. I got them replaced but I constantly have issues with the watch as I don't move my wrist enough for it. I have replaced the battery twice already and it keeps dying overnight. I have even wound it enough that it should be charged for multiple hours and it died within 45 minutes. Others may have a better time with said watch then I did. ... show more
