It creates a clean, continuous lighting effect that looks professionally installed. Build Quality: The aluminum channels are sturdy and well-finished. They feel much more substantial than cheaper alternatives, and they help dissipate heat effectively, which extends the life of the LED strips. The covers snap in cleanly and stay secure. Ease of Installation: Each 3.3 ft channel cuts easily with a standard hacksaw, and the included mounting clips make installation fast. Remodeling Kitchen company that was doing remodeling wanted $1500 to install under cabinet lighting. I researched and found these channels to mount COB lights inside and they come with a diffuser to make the lights all uniform. Easy to cut and installed to bottom of cabinet, you don’t even know they are there. Clean look and saved about $1100 Bucks. Yes I would recommend to any one for a DIY project.

After trying for a couple of hours, I was unable to attach the diffusers. I have so many LED kits and I must say that these are not manufactured properly. The aluminum channel is far too small for the diffuser to fit in. Cut my finger a couple of times and returning immediately. Edit: I was able to get the diffusers on but I had to use all my strength to bend the channels in order for them to fit. Channels are just too tight.

WARNING! I struggled for 20 minutes trying to put the diffuser into the track before I discovered it was NOT the correct size. There were two different sized diffusers delivered to me. Hard to get good photos. Pictures above show the one that is too wide and the another photo shows the one that fits fine. I know you’re probably saying just squeeze it in. Well the diffuser is made well. The wide one does not flex at all. The smaller one flexes just enough to get it together. Too late to get a refund on that. Once matched up the diffuser did fit in but still not as easy as I would expect. Final product looks ok but I wouldn’t go with this setup again.

Used these to light up a stairs leading to the basement. Still working great. Easy to install watching a few YouTube videos. Nice to have the option to change color of lights, specially around the holidays. Added a motion sensor at top and bottom of stairs because too lazy to flip the switch. Makes it nice when hands are full.

I was exploring a way to run my own LEDs under my new couch, with a method to make it look as if it came with the couch. After checking some ideas on Reddit, I found these channels. I took a rough measurement of the linear footage, and ordered the quantity based on that. Not only is the quality of these channels top notch, they are easy enough to work with for probably most setups. Pretty cool they come with pop-in diffusers for the older type of LEDs. Opted to not use them for my own setup, but kept them in case I change my mind. This project wouldn't have been possible without these channels! The description was spot on, I was able to determine my LED strip would fit in the channel fairly easily. If I had to do it all over again, I'd go this same route.
