I’ve had many mattress pads and toppers and never one like this. It was delivered on time and very well wrapped. It did have a strong odor. I laid it on top of guest bed to air out and fill out. The following day, the odor was gone and I placed it on my bed. It fit perfectly. I decided to test it, though it was early in the day. Once I lied down on it, the pain in my back subsided right away. It was sooooo comfortable, I didn’t want to get up. I finally talked myself into getting up and I have never looked so forward to bedtime as I did that day. I have only slept on it a couple of times so far, but it’s been the best pain free sleep I’ve had in a long, long time. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this a long time ago. It also sleeps COOL, which was my biggest concern. I was going to wait before reviewing this so early, but the pain relief and total comfort is telling me to say buy this now. You won’t regret it. I bought this to add to the camper bed. (Twin size) No more backaches, and we discovered that even on a hard floor with only a sheet on it, watching tv, it’s great! The dog even flops on it, instead of his plush doggie bed! I am so surprised at the difference this makes to the comfort of my camper mattress. I would highly recommend it to my best friend! It doesn’t hold in heat and there was no noticeable odor - although we did air it outside in the sunshine a day, just in case. Great quality!

I’m going to see how much the smell fades over the next few days but so far it feels great on my back. It smells strongly like chemicals and a mix of lavender. I’m not a fan of the smell but I’m sure it will dissipate a little over time.

Ive had this mattress topper for about 6 mo, and within the first few times of making the bed the material has ripped or peeled in the middle. You can't feel it but it was a huge bummer and I definitely wouldn't purchase it for the guest bed
