I got this 3-inch egg crate foam topper to make our queen bed a bit more comfortable, and it definitely adds a nice layer of softness. The 7-zone design gives a gentle, contouring feel that makes it more comfortable for side and back sleeping. It’s lightweight, easy to unroll, and expanded quickly after opening. It also sleeps cooler than I expected, which was a nice surprise since foam can sometimes run hot. One thing to note: it doesn’t really smell like lavender at all. That didn’t bother me, since I wasn’t buying it for the scent, but just something to be aware of. Also, if your mattress is sagging or really uncomfortable, this won’t perform miracles—it’s great for enhancing a decent mattress, not rescuing a bad one.
