Have not had a chance to install this yet. I did unpack and inspect. Looks like a nice quality bundle that will enable me to do several important exercises. Price is attractive. Does not include a wide bar for lat pull downs etc.

The parts of this exercise kit are very high quality and are well made. I've had it for a while and haven't been able to use it for reasons that will become obvious below. It, of course, does not include the weights, and those seem to be a little hard to come by in my area. Buying them online is a non-starter because it costs a FORTUNE to ship 200 lbs of iron. This does not reflect on the makers of this gym set, but you should be aware that it can complicate your purchase. Secondly and more importantly - I was hoping that it would come with more guidance on how you mount the gym. Sadly it does not. The manual has only 4 install steps with a picture. Step #2 simply says "Fix to a relatively sturdy bar in the home" What? I don't have any bars in my home attached to the ceiling, sturdy or otherwise! What does it mean by "relatively sturdy"? Can I use a shower rod? (I'm just kidding about the shower rod) I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of direction given on mounting options. It clearly needs to be fairly sturdy to not cause you harm by falling, but I have no idea how you'd mount such a bar, or where you'd even find it once you decided to mount it. Sorry Musskey, I've got to consider this item Not Recommended.
