My daughter wanted a magic xylophone like Bluey has. This one happened to show up next to the Bluey video when I searched so she really wanted it. As a high school band director buying a toy xylophone, I didn't expect much, and she has a kids' xylophone at home already. Wow! I was amazed when we got the xylophone, and she played it. It has a wonderful tone, is well made, and is properly pitched. The music cards are great too. They use music notation and are color coded to match the xylophone. This instrument is much better than the toy xylophone we bought for her before. I highly recommend this instrument if you want to bring music into your young child's life.

I bought this for my almost four-year-old granddaughter. She took to it right away. It makes a pretty sound. I was happy this xylophone comes with the two drumsticks. My daughter told me I got a gift for a much younger child but that hasn't stopped my granddaughter from playing with it. Her one-year-old brother also likes it. The xylophone is small so easily transportable. I actually enjoyed playing some simple one-octave songs on it such as Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and Mary Had a Little Lamb. I even managed Over the Rainbow. Maybe I'll get myself one!
