Description

The SADDLE-A-BOUT Leather Guitar Armrest is a simple, natural, aesthetic, and non-invasive solution to the age-old problem of protecting the soundboard finish from the devastating effect of perspiration and oils caused by playing with a sleeveless garment. Each saddle is handmade in USA using high quality genuine leather. The Patented Design keeps the saddle off the soundboard so that the only contact is on the rim to minimize any sound deadening effect. Comes in Three Sizes: To determine the right size for you, simply measure the depth of the guitar (back to soundboard) at desired point of contact with your arm. (See images for proper lower bout depth measurement) SMALL - fits lower bout depths of 3.5″ – 4.0″ MEDIUM - will fit lower bout depths of 4.0″ – 4.5″ LARGE - fits lower bout depths of 4.5″ to 5.0″ NOTE: Small suction cups are used to keep the Saddle-A-Bout in place, however the Saddle-A-Bout can also be used without the cups while in the playing position. Simply remove the cups from the holes. The suction cups are generally safe to use on a wide range of finishes, but if you have an expensive french polished/shellac finish or if your guitar is finished with nitro-cellulose laquer, check with the maker before using this product. For matte finishes, it may be necessary to use a product such as the Kling-On Guitar Support Sucton-Cup Protector. Keep the suction cups clean and dry before applying and use only during playing time until you are comfortable with the outcome.
