I bought new headphones,Beyerdynamic dt 990 pro. Had 2 other headphone amps that I thought were good,but just did not make the headphone sing the way I thought they should. so I purchased the musical fidelity lx2hpa and it did the trick, very large sound stage, and very high definition. the only thing they should of done is add the 24volt power supply.     • Great headphone amp!
For the price, this will be hard to beat. Despite being so small, it packs a punch. The fact that it includes three levels of gain for low to high impedance headphones is unheard of at this price point. It sounds very clean and neutral. I'm using akg k550 reference headphones and they sound great. The modest chassis and front fascia is appreciated as I believe musical fidelity spent the money on internals.     • Very good product
Crystal clear amplification. Enough power to drive some of the hungriest of headphones, including the 250ohm DT990 (didn't even need to move past 12 o'clock). Very good value for the money. Been using this for 2 months now with my K712s.
