The final product looks great but SMELLS terrible! After it was all out of the package and put toghether (which took two of us about 3 days to complete) the room it is in has a terrible chemical smell. On day two of assembling, it was so bad I had to shut the room off, open the windows and turn on a fan. I was nausiated and had a headache from being in the room with the windows closed. We've had the unit in the room now for about a week with the windows constantly open and the smell still has not completely disappated. Am hoping for this to be gone by the holidays as I have guests staying there. That said, the pieces were very clearly marked and that made assembly simple. Having the QR code on every page was also helpful as some of the illustrations were not completely clear. I would recommend mounting the unit to the wall prior to attaching the piston as once you do that, the bed unit will pull away from the wall. The screws for this part were not adequate for the job. The tops of the screws popped off after they were attached to the mounting bracket. Have extra hardware on hand! ... show more

Bed arrived with no instructions. I printed the pictures from Amazon and had to figure it out myself. I have attached the pictures and numbered the pieces in case someone wants to take on the challenge 🙃. This prolonged the process from a 2 day build to 4 weekends having to purchase some latches and better braces from home depot cause the bed doesn't stay closed at all times 🙃. I'm happy with the outcome just not the process. This should have come with instructions. ... show more
