I’m giving this machine four stars because it kept jamming on me but I think it’s because of the cheap thread. The top thread kept coming loose and I needed to re-thread the needle many times. It seemed as if the thread was either breaking loose or getting caught in the machine, otherwise the machine works very well. I am a beginner and a novice and for my first time sewing it was easy to set up, easy to use and served its purpose. I purchased this machine to make alterations on my T-shirts and possibly jeans in the future. The picture I uploaded of the fabrics are in order of thickness, the thickest fabric is to the left and the thinnest fabric is to the right. It seems the machine sews best on thicker fabrics. On the thinner fabrics the sewing is inconsistent.

I got this machine as a placeholder for a larger/nicer machine that doesn't really fit in my current apartment. I am mostly using it for simple crafts/projects. It works alright, but I am currently using flannel in my project and it can sometimes get caught up and gives some issues with tearing thread or bunching up, particularly when I go in reverse. Also, when it says gentle guiding of fabric only, it is very serious, the slightest higher pressure can pull the needle to hit the foot and cause issues.

I want to give it more stars however i have been having issues with my needle not aligning correctly. I have tried using a different needles, using a new presser foot, and even bought better thread and my needle keeps bending from hitting all the presser foots I’ve used and breaking my thread.

this item is not good. i didnt even get the chance to do 1 stitching as the needle is not picking up the lower bobbin thread. I even took it to my professional tailor and he said the same thing. something is missing or damage thats why the needle is not picking up the bobbin thread.
