Over the years we have had about a dozen of these toys. They are a favorite. I have Belgian Malinois who know they aren’t allowed to purposely destroy toys but through normal play eventually these toys fail but until then they love that it plays a tune, and they play tug of war and have fun. The shark has the least amount of damage since it doesn’t have appendages to rip off. The monkey is a hit but it’s down to just 2 arms. I do stitch these up as they get torn because they are a favorite. Since the shark got pricey I usually keep a stock of two monkeys to replace a destroyed one… of course every once in awhile I am awakened by the “Deedle” song… ... show more

I got my dog his first deedle (the mouse) years ago and it was his immediate favorite. Over the years we’ve tried the whole deedle gang! The monkey is the least favorite- he loves the limbs to chew on but they don’t stay attached like the shark and mouse. The shark is his second favorite, it’s sturdy but has less nubbins that he likes to just sit and chew on. The mouse has reigned favorite since day one almost 5 years ago, we’re on our second of those I won’t get rid of, even though he’s worn the singer out. He still chooses it over most of his other toys, although he may be needing a replacement because he gets disappointed when it doesn’t sing for him anymore.
