    • This tool hurts your hands
You cannot use this tool to remove a rusty nut, it doesn't allow you to apply sufficient torque, it only hurts your hands. This is only a toy to screw the new nuts but not remove the old rusty nuts

Seems like they would do the job. Sturdy enough. But to use them you need to file off the powder coat paint as the metal cutouts are exactly the right size. Then they paint the metal wrench and now it does not fit the nut.

    • These make working on faucets exponentially easier
If you ever plan on changing a faucet, installing a water filter, or even adding a sink soap dispenser, you’re going to want a basin wrench. I'd been using a plastic 8-in-1 wrench which is much better than either using the old style or awkwardly trying to use a plain wrench. It lacked several sizes that this set has and it sometimes flexed rather than turning a tight fitting though. This one can take more pressure before twisting depending on how you're holding it. The only improvement I can think of to help that would be if the round sides were thicker or more oval-shaped. (It also would've been nice if one of these were a slightly different size so they'd nest together better and take up less space in the tool bag.) To be fair, if the faucets are so corroded that these can't take them apart, then it might be a better idea to check that the sink doesn't also need replaced. ... show more

Whenever I need to do a little plumbing work, it always seems to be under a sink and I dread the cramped spaces. Twisting and contorting my body to be able to work wrenches in tight spaces makes me not want to do it.
