Description

The Ski Master V watch is the perfect accessory when you hit the slopes. It stores a bunch of skiing-related data, including altitude, ski slope, speed of descent, and time elapsed. You can look over a day's worth of data, including your altitude over time, maximum descent speed, ski date, total elapsed time, and descent speed tendency. The PSKIW25 is also equipped with a chronograph and dual-time alarm. A barometer provides accurate readings of the pressure in mBar, inHg, or mmHg - and can even predict the weather, showing one of four graphical icons. A compass shows you your cardinal direction and provides a 0-360 degree readout. Water resistant to 33 feet. Color: orange.

  • a little bummed....
Color: Orange
I had searched on Amazon for a women's sport watch and this one appeared - the functions were intriguing and the features appealing. Alas, upon delivery, it was a large men's watch - not a women's watch at all. I didn't try all of the functions, except for the light -- it seemed quite dim and didn't compare to, say, Timex indiglo. The watch was light weight - suspiciously so. It felt a little cheap, as the price might suggest, but it probably would have been a nice light weight watch had it been the right size. It really felt like a rubber wrist band with an aluminum cap on it. The buttons didn't give a definitive feel of having depressed it - and the dim illumination made me think I hadn't pushed hard enough! I was quite excited about this watch, so maybe I was unfairly disappointed when it wasn't what I had expected. I'm mostly frustrated with Amazon for somehow navigating away from the women's sizes....the search field still had women's listed, and the details of the watch don't indicate men's or women's. So there's no way to know on the size... Anyway, I gave it to a friend, who really likes it. I believe the functions worked ok (for my friend), so for the price, I would say it's a pretty good buy. -still bummed, though ... show more

  • Returning this again
Color: Orange
Ordered this for my husband’s birthday. Box arrived damaged, watch wouldn’t turn on and instructions were missing. Ordered a replacement, and that box came damaged and wouldn’t turn on either so we tried to replace the battery. Finally got it on but the light button won’t turn on and the overall display is hard to read. Sending it back and getting a refund. ... show more

  • Pretty happy for the price
I bought this watch as a replacement for a older knockabout watch - mostly for biking/hiking/etc. First impressions matched what some other reviewers said: seemed too lightweight, instructions weren't great but the operation of the watch was intuitive. The frame of the watch is larger and thicker than what I expected, but since it's not heavy it never felt clunky. I was mostly interested in the altimeter and compass - both features appear to work very well. I calibrated the altimeter a couple of times (once when I was at sea level, another when I was at a known higher elevation) and it has tracked elevation changes pretty accurately since then. Anyway, not the fanciest, flashiest and/or "best" sports watch out there - but I'm pretty happy with the purchase and look forward to using it more come snowboard season. ... show more

  • I've seen better but it's certainly readable
Digging this so far. The display is ok, I've seen better but it's certainly readable. One star off for being incredibly tough to use. I've never had to keep referring to the directions for electronics before. But I'm getting the hang of it... Update: used it for a few days skiing, still like it. Display is better than I gave it credit for. Noticed that the band doesn't appear replaceable. Seems pretty accurate as well. Skied 12k feet; the ascent and decent were within 20 ft of each other. Edit again: getting better. Not intuitive, but you get used to it. Display is actually good. Just found out you can adjust the contrast. Solid watch, I definitely recommend it ... show more

  • humongous
Color: Orange
This watch is giant - I'm a woman, and this thing is too heavy and large for me to wear comfortably on a long hike. My husband got this watch in black and loves it. The temp is never correct, as it seems to measure the temp of your arm. If you're really curious about the temp, you could take the watch off and let it sit for 15 minutes or more. I'll be giving this to my brother. ... show more

  • Overall it is a good watch for the money
Color: Orange
Overall it is a good watch for the money. My only complaint is the back light is a bit dim so sometimes reading the time at night is a struggle. The night light is also very dim and it is sometimes impossible to see the time in the dark.

  • Pretty low-tech watch
Right away the crystal (which it isn't) scratched and I now have a nice line going across the face. And that's before I've even taken it out for testing. The instructions and menu listings are not intuitive and the manual (translated from another language it seems) is pretty cumbersome. The ski-recording is intensive and requires numerous inputs for what ultimately amounts to how much vertical feet skied. Not sure I know anyone who really cares about that. Would not recommend this to anyone. Sorry guys! ... show more

  • Dead battery
Color: Orange
Came with a dead battery but i put a new one in and it works great. I work at an animal clinic and have worn this watch for over month now and it has held up good. Under water and all! Is made of cheap plastic but still sturdy. Bezel does rotate easily. And the back lite works great. Read the instructions! U can adjust the brightness. 3 stars because of for mentioned battery. ... show more
