  • Great Foldable Suitcase
Color: Red
It folds to a really small size, and feels sturdy. Opens up to a size of a large suitcase. Would get it again if needed to.

  • Neat Idea… Execution needs work
Color: Navy Blue
The media could not be loaded. Review for Expandable Spinner Suitcase from Stephanie NOTE: The attached video is just MY idea of how to use this bag as a carry-on, it does NOT come with straps to cinch it smaller. Wish it did, though! I’m really a review-reader when it comes to buying products online. Unfortunately when there are no reviews, its difficult to be sure whether a product will measure up to your needs and quality. I’m also always looking for really great new inventions and admire inspired inventors who come up with new ideas. When I saw the Amazon listing, I was intrigued enough to order it. I figure it will either be the greatest thing since sliced bread, or a dud. So which is it? When traveling by air, luggage size and weight becomes hugely important. While packing, I’m constantly calculating which items will be consumed during the trip, leaving a bit of extra space, and whether I’ll need to reserve some space and weight for souvenirs. An expandable suitcase solves many problems. Pack at home when unexpanded, then there is extra space for those little gifts purchased along the way. This bag weighs 4.6 lbs empty. This bag is completely unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The bottom is solid with a set of four spinner wheels, then the entire bag can collapse, leaving a little package less than 5” tall. Using it collapsed, its a large tote bag size, but too large to use as a carry-on, and two additional levels unzip to expand to a medium or large size. Take note, though, there is NO internal structure or framework to this bag so when fully expanded, only the contents help retain its shape. Its more like a rectangular duffle that has wheels and can be rolled on its end. It opens only from the end with a zipper. There is no way to fully open it to pack it. This bag works much better when using packing cubes, placing the heaviest items on the very bottom over the wheels, and packing cubes will help it hold its shape. It would be off balance and very difficult to roll if not packed in this manner. This would also only be helpful for those people who unpack the bag completely at the destination. It would be too difficult to rummage through the narrow opening to find specific articles of clothing. This odd bag would be ideal when traveling by car, less so by plane. I would not plan to check this as a suitcase unless it only had clothing and no breakables. I’ve encountered some people who buy so many souvenirs that they pack a smaller suitcase into the larger one to bring back extra stuff. This would be perfect for this use. Actually, I’d put only clothes in this bag, with breakable souvenirs in a bag with more protection. I’m sure every new product must have had extensive planning before production. That’s why this bag baffles me so much. With a little more thought, the designers would have made its smallest size acceptable as a carry-on. Once fully expanded, its quite large. The spinners are very good, very smooth, but once the bag is fully expanded, it becomes more difficult to roll, as its more top-heavy. Check out my attached video.. It is possible to use cinch straps to collapse the bag to carry-on size, if needed. I plan to use nylon webbing to make a couple of straps to use with this bag. (The straps I used in the video were borrowed, just to try it out before spending money to make more.) So, my opinion…. Two things needed when using this suitcase.. packing cubes and cinch straps. Sorry, folks, this bag is just too quirky to be practical. For what it is, it appears to be well made. Three stars because of its many limitations. ... show more

Stephanie Imports Multi-Tiered Expandable Suitcase Luggage Travel Duffel Bag With Quick-Access Front Zipper Pocket & 360 Spinner Wheels (Navy Blue) (Navy Blue). This was the perfect traveling as i took it flatten with me in my backpack and with all i bought on my trip i ended up needing an extra luggage so i just pulled out this bad boy and was able to put all my clothes in it. Once full and heavy was not as sturdy but still was able to wheel it around, super worth it. One flight and it arrived with a hole so the fabric wasnt as resistant as it felt but overall im very happy with it and will continue using it. I recommend this bag. ... show more

  • Good for a couple of uses
Color: Red
I took this on a recent trip to Europe and packed this in my suitcase, knowing I'd need it on the return. It works well for that, but it's not a strong case or one I expect will last. I used my hardshell case for the harder items I took home, and stuffed this one full of clothing rather than new purchases. It is pretty maneuverable over smooth ground-- the wheels seemed sturdy and I actually had to pull this along uneven sidewalk to the train. I'm not confident that the zippers will withstand lots of stuffing. I filled it to the top which made it easier to pull at the tallest height, BUT it also wasn't balanced perfectly and doesn't look like it does in the picture once it's filled to the top. It's lumpy and uneven. It's important to put something heavy at the bottom to correct the center of gravity and make it a little more stable. I used some shoes and packed clothing around it. The bag was checked at the airport, and made it off the conveyor belt without any damage. I wouldn't use it as an every day bag, but it's packability in a large suitcase makes it ideal to use if you're planning on coming home with more things than you left with. ... show more

  • AMAZING for cruise packing
Color: Red
We just returned from a 7 day cruise and were able to get all of the clothes for both of our children and about half of our adult clothes into this bag in packing cubes. I would not recommend this for loose packing because you load from the top and have no access other than that. But stacking packing cubes into this bag helped us get SO much more into a single checked bag than any other luggage we have. I HIGHLY recommend for packing cube users. ... show more

  • best for car trips
Color: Red
color red This is a very well made duffel bag with spinner wheels. The fabric is a heavier woven waterproof polyester. The handles and zippers are well sewn and the wheels move smoothly. This is an expandable bag and can go from completely collapsed 5" ( when storing) to 20-26-32 inches depending upon how much you need to pack. It is recommended that heavier items be place on the bottom. Of course, the bag is easiest to roll when it's fully expanded as it's then that your hand will be able to grasp the handle to roll it. The duffel bag does include a shoulder strap but it's not very helpful for pulling the bag, and it's not comfortable to carry on your shoulder with the wheels exposed. I would not recommend this for air travel. I think the wheels are too exposed and could be damaged. At the 20" height it doesn't meet the specs for carry on luggage. I only intended to use it for traveling by car so it's great for me. I always use packing cubes as they make packing so much easier and they certainly will for this duffel. It is easier to remove the packed cubes than root through the duffel for what you need. I prefer my Tumi rolling suitcase for air travel, as the handle has different height choices and the wheels are not completely exposed. ... show more
