I ordered 2 jugs. One was fine and the other was like thick sludge, couldn't even pour it out of the jug. I ordered another, if it is like sludge, I will see what I need to do to return it for a refund. UPDATE: I reached out to the company and they sent me another jug, free of charge and the new jug was as it should be. I like that it goes on blue, so you can see where it's been applied. It dries clear. It holds the pea gravel in place so I can blow the little maple leaf pods off without blowing the rock too. ... show more

It's the way to go if you have gravel or mulch you don't want moving! Never used this before and after putting some pea gravel down for some landscaping, I came across this and thought, "What the hell? Let's try it" I'm glad I did. THIS stuff works! Mix 2 parts water to 1 part glue. Sprays out neon blue so you can see what you've covered and dries clear! Must put two plus coats 24 hours apart depending on how thick you have laid gravel. I put 6 mill plastic for weed control, fencing for holding the pine straw on a fairly steep bank. I tucked the pine straw into the fencing as good as possible. I used this mulch glue spraying it on the pine straw one afternoon and then the next. I've had several rains on this and everything still looks good. The other precautions help but it's noticeable that the glue helps too. ... show more

    • Be careful on what and how you apply this product!

I used this product on Scotts Wood Mulch. Bad decision. Do not use a watering can as shown in the instructions to apply this product unless you drill much larger holes on the spouts. This glue is like thick mud. And, if you decide to use a pump sprayer, you will need a lot of pressure and a wide sprayer opening. I was forced to slightly dilute the product with water in order for it to apply it via my heavy-duty hand pump sprayer. Adding a tad of water did not affect the adhesion qualities. Lastly, this product leaves a shiny "sheen" on the wood mulch. This product should be labeled as "rock mulch glue". Update: I increased the rating up by one star because a customer service representative reached out to me after I posted my initial review. We discussed the issues I experienced, and she gave me very helpful information to address them. She also replaced the product I had consumed. Once Spring comes, I will apply the product with her recommendations. The customer service woman was very helpful and wanted me to have a good product experience! ... show more

I also used on mulch under a magnolia tree. I used it so that I can blow the leaves without worrying about blowing the mulch out as well and it works great.
