Supports my arthritic knee pretty well. I’m wearing it for daily wear, not jogging/running or other sports. Walking and daily activity. Comfortable enough, with no pinching or gouging, to wear all day. I sleep in it as well when I need some nighttime relief. Replaced an older Ace open back brace, and this is as good or better. Prevents the soreness, stiffness and swelling I get when active and not wearing a brace. I much prefer the open/wrap around style. The pull on/over style is just not as convenient for me as the wrap around. I also believe the wrap around braces are more comfortable. The brace can also be put on or taken off without removing shoes. That’s a big deal if you want, or need, to remove the brace during the day, or forget to put it on before putting your shoes on. I’ve only had it a month or so, so I can’t speak to how durable the brace is, or isn’t. . It’s a $15 brace, it’s not a miracle device. If you needed a knee replacement 5 years ago and still haven’t had it done, it’s probably not going to help you all that much. For a old damaged, 4 times operated on knee that is going to need to be replaced in a few years, it is helping delay that replacement. Good support. Comfortable. Convenient. I've had several of these over the years and I love them. Very comfortable to wear-even at the gym. The only thing I find is that the fuzzy part of the velcro on the top strap has worn out fairly quickly on all of them so I have to replace the brace. I'm not sure if this is because the top is taking most of the pressure when I'm wearing it (calf muscles expanding when bent so more pressure). ... show more

I've used a Mueller knee strap for over 25 years because of previous athletics, and it finally wore out. I bought another brand and I was crap, the Velcro faster didn't stick brand new! It wasn't comfortable , and didn't ease any pain! It took 2 days to come back to Mueller supports AND they work!!! The pain is diminished, they last, and they're fair priced! ... show more

Husband uses this every day. It can be hot when the weather is scorching, but he is pleased with the results so far. It does maintain his kneecap in place and hopefully puts off the knee replacement for a while longer.

I wear braces on both knees. Bone on bone, arthritis and torn meniscus. The Mueller brace is comfortable to wear for a couple days then I start having some knee discomfort. Not sure if I’m wearing them too tight. The “Velcro” fasteners hold well but if I wear them too loose they slide down my leg. My Dr. Brace knee braces work very well but the fasteners seem to lose their ability to hold after a couple of months. The Mueller braces have half a “donut” supporting under the knee where the Dr. Brace has a full “donut” going around the knee. I’m relatively happy with both knee braces except for the problems I mentioned. If the Mueller brace added some non slip material to the underside of the brace it would solve the need for pulling them so tight to keep them from slipping. If the Dr. Brace group improved their “Velcro” material they would be great. ... show more
