When doing daily activity work, going up and down stairs they support my knees and keep the knee pain down. Without this support my knees swell and makes walking difficult.

    • Great Stability but Velcro Should Be Upgraded
This brace is sturdy and I like the stability it gives my knee. So, I will continue wearing it. But I have had to buy it twice (about 5 months apart) because the Velcro stops working after awhile. I actually need to order a third one now. It’s especially frustrating when I’m driving and the Velcro comes loose. Also, I’m an average size/weight for my height yet it just fits; if my leg were any larger it would be too small. They should give the measurements that it fits. ... show more

    • It is nice having the removable bars on the side.
I like these so much. I use it to keep from hyper-extening my knee. They are verry comfortable to wear all day. I wish the velcro stuck better. Otherwise, they are great.

    • Nice braces
I actually bought 2 of these in 2014, so I see, and have been using them ever since. Previously I had tried several other knee braces, but found that these were the most effective for me. The side hinges really help keep my upper & lower leg segments from twisting opposite on rocky trails. I am somewhat past the age of most hikers, but these have greatly enhanced my enjoyment, and kept me in the game (plus glucosamine). I would probably have needed knee replacements if I hadn't started using knee braces some 20 years ago. The only real issue is that comfort is not optimal, but I solved that by using elastic knee wraps under the braces. ... show more

Buyer beware. Cannot be returned. This one size fits all doesn’t fit my leg. Another thing I don’t like is the fact that hinges butterfly open when the knee is bent. I have no choice but to keep the thing.
