    • Great supportive brace
I had the Mueller Back brace similar to this but is $1 cheaper on Amazon. I got the old one a long time ago at a job which required a great deal of lifting. I really liked the old Mueller Back brace which (as previously stated) seems to be the same one that sells about a dollar cheaper on Amazon. This back brace provides more support than my old one but is a but bulkier (despite reviews saying it is not). I collected a number of back braces (probably 6 or 7) that I have collected over the years and I like the Mueller braces the best. Both of my Mueller braces require double fastening steps, first attaching the main brace and then attaching the secondary braces. My other braces don't require this double fastening but don't seem to be as secure on my back either. Other than the secure fit to my back, I like the metal (maybe their plastic) supports in the back. My other braces also have these braces but they're much more pronounced and rigid than the Mueller supports and have caused me problems in the past when they jam into my ribs after wearing them for prolonged periods. The Mueller supports and especially the supports on this back brace are quite flexible and not so pronounced, not seeming to cause these problems. I also have smaller braces (like the Venom) that I can put on quickly but if I'm doing a great deal of lifting or moving this is my preferred favorite brace. ... show more

I purchased this lumbar support belt for my husband, who works at a desk most of the day and often complains about lower back discomfort. This brace turned out to be very useful not only for everyday back fatigue, but also for extra support when lifting heavy items, during long periods of sitting or standing. The one-size-fits design is convenient. Thanks to the adjustable straps, it’s easy to customize the fit so it feels secure without being uncomfortable. The removable lumbar pad is a great feature,it allows targeted support exactly where it’s needed most.My husband also wore this brace while doing some home renovation projects, and he was pleasantly surprised by how much it helped. He said it provided solid support and noticeably reduced pain on his lower back.Of course, this belt is meant for temporary relief and support and shouldn’t be considered a replacement for professional medical care in the case of serious back issues. I'm 70, male, average height and weight. This is my first back brace. Got it on sale for <$18, it is high quality, works great. Immediate relief and after I wore it tightly for 10 min. I took it off and my back pain was gone. Have had sacroiliac and tailbone pain for 40 yrs but not serious. In my opinion, it’s the best and highest-quality one on the market. I used it for 7 years before—it never let me down—and I’m still using it now. It wraps around your body like a SWAT steel vest, and you feel safe in it. The material is excellent, and most importantly, it offers great rust protection and is removable. This has been so helpful for me at my volunteer position at the local animal shelter!! Great quality at an affordable price!! The support is wonderful especially when you’re having to tote around heavy bags of pet food and donations. At 70 years old I need all the help and support I can get !!
