Bought this to keep a selection of shells with my hunting and home defense shotguns. One side loaded with various birdshot, other side has buck and slugs. Easy to load/unload shells and seems to be fairly durable, been in my trunk with other junk and hasn’t cracked or broken.

    • the latch concerns me ...
I was hoping that since this says it's Made in the USA it would be of better quality than the typical stuff from China. The plastic that it's made out of is sturdy and seems strong, but the latch doesn't have a firm catch to it. 50 rounds has a bit of weight to it so I'm a bit concerned about it holding up over time. But so far it's working just fine. I've had mine a few weeks now and it now shows "unavailable" on AMAZON so hopefully they are coming out with an upgraded model that has a better latch and handle. ... show more

    • Looks sturdy.
Well, some folks said the .lid din't hold closed if you lift by the handle. Mine appears to lock up tight, but it will be in the bottom of the blind bag 99% if the time. SO you all know, I am currently shooting Kent 3.5" shells and they DO FIT in this case. Going hunting tomorrow... will update if things change. Seems like a good value. ... show more

Not what was expected, rather cheap to be blunt and to boot one of the items was missing a handle. Rather bad QA no matter where it was sent from. Won’t make this mistake again. Very possible sending it back.
