I couldn’t find an OEM part for my nearly 20 year old Murray lawnmower, but I read in the reviews that it fit my mower, so I decided to try it out. It was not an exact fit but ultimately it did work. The quality is good, so I felt like it deserves a 5 star review, because it’s not their fault that it doesn’t fit a lawnmower they made no claims it would fit. This is ok width wise (i trusted that it is for the same mower brand that I have). My bad i guess. However this works width wise, but is TOO short to fit all the holes! argh. Spent way too much time trying to fit it. Not only is it to short to fit the holes, it TOO short for mowing!

I have a 10 year old MTD 22 inch mulching high wheel in the back push mower. The lower handle broke. Engine still runs great. Didn't want to buy a new push mower. Ordered online from Amazon. Lower bolt holes fit and matched up o.k. But Didn't keep the handle from moving up and down. There is a place to drill through to add a bigger bolts right above the other one. Drilled through put in new bolts and lock washers and locking nuts. Tightened down. But not to much or you will crack the metal. With a little work. It matches up and your handle will be good as new. ... show more

Well look, i bought this part because my Pulsar mowers lower handle somehow snapped in half at the bolts. I could not find any replacement part for it. I measured it out and this item came up, it was a tight fit and i needed to do some cutting, but i got it to work. The handle had solid construction, no issues that I know of and felt very sturdy. I haven't had any issues with this handle, even though I improvised it still worked for me. ... show more
