Designed to uplift. Made of a single sturdy piece of aluminum, mStand transforms your laptop into a stylish workstation with its elegant curves and silver-anodized finish. The single piece design solidly holds a laptop while the aluminum panel acts a heat sink to keep the laptop cool. A cable hole in the back of the stand routes wires to reduce clutter. Ergonomics Long-term use of a laptop as the main computing device can strain the body as the user hunches down to see the screen and type. mStand raises the screen 5.9 inches (150 mm) to meet the user's eye level, thus promoting better posture, while its tilt design brings the screen closer for easier viewing. This stand feels premium, with very precisely machined surfaces and a nice matte finish. I own two of these, and they're very stable and durable. Neither has had issues where the grip pads become loose or detached. It's simply a well-built, attractive stand. One point to consider is that this stand is not adjustable. One on hand, this keeps the design simple and makes it extremely sturdy, but on the other hand, you're stuck with the configured angle and height. If you want to be able to raise the height of the laptop or to angle it more aggressively to increase desk space, you're out of luck. The stand does have a fairly big footprint and the angle is such that it's almost intrusive on keyboard and mouse space. That being said, I find it very usable and a good balance. I recently purchased this stand for my MacBook Pro and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The design of the stand is a perfect match for my MacBook Pro, it looks great and it fits perfectly. The stand is made of durable materials and it feels very sturdy and stable, perfect for keeping on your desk. One of the features that I appreciate the most is that it allows me to rotate my MacBook Pro 360 degrees, which is extremely convenient when I am in a meeting and need to show something on my screen to someone else. The stand also has a non-slip rubber base which provides a stable and secure grip on any surface. Additionally, the color space gray is exactly the same as the MacBook Pro, which makes it seamlessly integrate with the overall design. Even though it is not lightweight to carry around, it is designed to be kept on your desk, which makes it perfect for a workstation.     • A great laptop stand

At first, I was skeptical of the price, especially when I opened up the box and what I was presented with was nothing but a thick chunk of shaped metal. However, now that I've been using this for a bit of time, I can attest to it's quality: 1. This thing is STURDY. One of my children is a curious (read: nosy) four year old who loves to inspect anything she can get her hands on. No amount of her typing, tugging, pulling or otherwise manipulation of the work laptop upon this stand has budged it in the slightest. Unless you are (an adult) intentionally trying to remove the laptop from the stand, your computer is very stable. 2. It's actually great for hiding wires. It has a hole in the back for tunneling wires towards/away from the computer, and this stand being the hunk of metal that it is, does a nice job obscuring such wires, which gives the stand a nice, clean look on a desk with a little bit of care. For some people, this matters a lot, which gives this stand an edge over the more architecturally sparse stands on Amazon. 3. The space between the "legs" of the stand and the "floor" where your computer rests is a great place to hide your phone while getting work done. I put mine on a charger and hide my phone there, which is really nice for limiting any tendencies to check my phone when I have a lull in my attention span. Since you can't see the phone when it rests there, but you can still hear it, I found myself pleasantly surprised that this stand could enable better productivity from my bad habits. It's a good stand and it's worth the money, especially if you have dual monitors and/or you're trying to improve the ergonomics of your workspace. ... show more

The mStand 360 is an amazing stand. I love how it is built from a single piece of aluminum and looks amazing on my desk. It fits my Macbook Pro 15" extremely well and raises it up to the height of my monitor easily. Not only does it help me improve my posture, but it also neatens up my desk significantly. I can easily fit an external keyboard under my Macbook when I am not using it, clearing up space. The hole in the back is also useful for bunching cables together that go directly into my Macbook, keeping my cables off the floor when I take my Macbook to go somewhere. The stand feels very stable, with no chance of my Macbook falling off. The aluminum C shape does have a slight bend on it if you put extra weight on it, but all in all, it feels very sturdy. The rubber padding on the stand also keeps the stand from scraping or damaging any part of my laptop and I feel very comfortable trusting the stand with my laptop. I would not recommend typing on a laptop keyboard while it is on the stand, but it works great with external keyboards. The swivel feature met my expectations, allowing the laptop to be easily turned. Thankfully, it was not too easy to turn and my laptop does not turn itself when in the stand. It is a nice feature to have, especially because I paid only 5$ extra for it (the price for the swivel stand seems to have increased since then). I am very happy with my purchase, even though it did seem a little expensive. I am wholly satisfied that I spent the extra 20$ to get a great laptop stand that will probably last for years. ... show more
