Quality wise these are solid chairs especially for the price point. We had three other barstools that had cost quite a bit but we're looking to add more and couldn't find the exact stools again. We found some that were close but at almost $300 each were more than we wanted to spend. Found this pair for around $100 each stool sold as a set. They were easy to put together and I like how easy they are to adjust the height as our breakfast bar is at an unconventional height. These actually go a little taller than our last ones which work great for the kids. Only drawback is that they are great size for kids but I am 6'-3" and 275#'s and they are sturdy enough to hold me but not very comfortable. My kids think they are awesome and now they have enough stools for everyone to eat or work up there. Great quality for the price. ... show more

The seat bottom is definitely not for "americans" sized bottoms. Maybe if all your friends are gym sharks and wear <30 in waist skinny jeans. But for meat loving, beer drinking americans this is a toothpick holding up your rear.

I did love the quick, no hassle delivery. They come with some assembly required - but that was very easy (took longer to remove the bubble wrap than to assemble them. I just started using them - and my first real concern is whether they are sturdy enough for my 225 lb body. I'm guessing this is only something a larger person would notice. I have an extra-tall counter, and bar stools that are tall enough are next to impossible to find for less than $200 each. I bought these stools because the stools I currently have wobble on my high-pile carpet and I was hoping that these stools would work as they have four individual legs (which tend to be more sturdy on carpet). While these stools were adjustable to the right hight and the seats could be comfortable, they were wobbly and the wobble came from where the seat attaches to the legs. The seat is supported by one 1/2-3/4" screw, so at the taller heights, the seat becomes incredibly wobbly. These stools may not wobble as much at lower heights, but they sadly weren't workable for what I needed. ... show more

Packaging was subpar, box was flimsy and when it arrived, first time it was damaged and returned during shipping, it was pretty beat up. The product was pretty well protected, only a tiny ding that I saw and it wasn't noticeable after assembly. Assembly was pretty quick and easy. They are the perfect height for what we needed. Seats are small but they aren't for long time sitting at our bar counter. Just to visit while preparing stuff in the kitchen so they will work fine. Quality is alright. ... show more

The black paint on the screw came off immediately and got all in my floor! Seems real cheap! For the discount they gave it will be okay! I will probably have to buy a better set that is more durable probably in a year! I would not recommend for a heavy weight person. Box was broken but product was okay. Cheap cushion and thin metal! I love these, we have a odd dimensioned bar counter, but with these we can adjust the hights. Study and comfortable. Only negative is the small feet, these may damage the wood floor. We are placing adhesive pads under these which should eliminate the concern.

I have a stand up desk in my office that is hardwood and has a turn crank to raise and lower with metal, these were the PERFECT set for this room! OMG I can't say how much I love these chairs!! Easy to put together and comfortable to sit at all day but I still stand some too :)
