I did increase the ram in this to 32 GB, only because I also work in 3D art and I wanted to ensure I could run those 3D programs without a hitch. Pros - Works great out of the box. Very nice laptop for the price Cons - Needed just a bit more ram for my liking Battery life can be a bit short depending on what you're doing. Sometimes the battery runs down in as little as 2 hours. My old laptop's battery would last 4 hrs minimum, 6 hrs if I wasn't playing games online. I wish the power on button was located in a different spot. This is a great lil' laptop for the price. Def plays games, I run both WOW and FF14 on it and use it to flop around in bed, be lazy, and play games or do some writing or answering emails if I don't want to sit at the PC. It's was purely a self-care kind of buy but I can see someone getting this as their main PC as it should, and would very easily cover most of your needs that buying a larger desktop, keyboard, mouse, monitor would be equal to. If you're kinda broke but still want something that'll last you a couple years and let you play games while you save for something big and beefy, this is your guy. Or the very near equivalents also from MSI with bigger SSD and better processors. But this one would cover your butt for a good bit. ... show more

I bought this as a far far upgrade from the laptop I had because it wouldn’t run even the most basic of games from steam. This one however had good specs and I bought it because it was similar to my roommates. However, it’s a shame that less than 30 minutes out of the box, the laptop started crashing with no explanation. Later on it blue screened several times and the code was for a hard drive/RAM error. When I contacted the seller about it they weee very apathetic and did not offer much help. Returning this today for a better laptop elsewhere. ... show more
