I don't have any complaints about this laptop! Got it quickly and stressed tested it with no issues what so ever! It ran AAA demanding games in Ultra settings with no lag! The screen is absolutely beautiful! The black levels match OLED screens thanks to the mini LEDs! The RGB mystic lights are bright and amazing. Fully customizable via Steel Series GG! The speakers sound great! Good amount of bass with the dual subs and tweeters on the sides. But be aware that this laptop is not 144hz. It's actually 120hz. Which to me makes no difference!     • Overpriced. This is a 2023 model.
Bought via Amazon warehouse deals as new -opened box laptop, with a large price discount . This is a decent laptop for gaming, but there are some downsides. Cons: -Price, too high, get it on sale. - RTX 4070 is mid, supposedly can run at 175w with boost. Cannot play games at 4K, even 1440p seems to be pushing it. - Loud fans , and generates a lot of heat. Speakers are mid, lacks bass. - Lid/Screen hinge design is suspect, prone to catastrophic damage. - keyboard backlight is not bright enough. - Too much RGB lighting, but it can be disabled. - The MSI center software is required to make hardware setting changes and it reinstalls itself after a Windows update -Only 1 Thunderbolt 4 port, I feel like there should be at least 3 of these. Pros: - miniLED screen is nice, HDR looks great, blacks look as good as OLED, and the 1000nits makes this screen bright! I actually had to turn it down some. - Lots of ports, don't get me wrong more ports is better, but it has 1 Thunderbolt, and several usb-c 3.2 ports, and a displayport. SD card. - Wifi 7 - M.2 Gen 3 SSD compatible - During winter time can be used as a heater and will raise the temps 10-20°F in a small room! TLDR. Spend a little more on a setup with better GpU/CPU combo, like the RTX5080 make sure it is not the power save model, and get a Ti version or with more than 8GB of VRAM. Make sure your cup won't bottleneck the GPU , and vice versa. Also you will never use 4K for gaming on laptop, a 1440p with at least 144hz seems to be the sweet spot! ... show more

Well, I was very excited for this, but it’s struggling just playing COD MW3. The laptop has completely locked up numerous times, forcing a restart. The fan is very loud. I was very hopeful, especially after spending so much, but it’s not living up to what I thought it would so far. The picture does look amazing though. ... show more

    • Poor backlight
This was my fifth MSI laptop on one the keyboard went bad years ago. I have three that I currently use. I need laptops that have a nice bright backlit keyboard which all of them do except this one. It’s so dim you can hardly see it with the lights turned off, its brightness setting as high as it will go. I called MSI and they basically said that’s the way it is so I am returning this. ... show more

Its easy to use it is a good value for the money the brightness is changable the performance is okay for most games the sound quality is good the screen quality is 4k at 120hz the performance for the computer is okay its low vram but it runs fine
