It is very hard to configure, there is no manual included and the manual you can download is a bad translation from chinese and very low effort was put overall in the product. The BIOS menus are very user unfriendly, and not intuitive. Most text in bios and manuals looks like a low effort translation from chinese. It is also very unstable, and the system crashes many times a day. Configuration of CPU and DDR timings is completely manual, you have to look up the correct timings for your memory and CPU online and set them manually because the BIOS is not able to auto-detect them. I recomend steering away from this motherboard and MSI brand in general. ... show more

My 'renewed' MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4 worked well out of the box but got bricked after a seemingly flawless bios flash. I'm not new to bios flashes, but it happened all the same. I've read several reports of MSI boards not accepting bios flashes from certain flash drives. I gave up after trying six different flash drives and returned the motherboard. My returned board was replaced very quickly with a minimum of fuss. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and helpful. Excellent service, and a great experience all around. ... show more
