  • Awesome laptop
Style: P65 Creator 15.6"|RTX2060|i7-9750H| Pattern: Single
This is a great laptop for the price. You get a lot of bang for the buck! The screen is really nice! Probably the best looking screen I have on any device. Even my 4k vizio doesn't look as good. The design is simple and elegant and I love the keyboard! The backlights add a nice touch (no pun intended) and the typing experience was better than I expected. My fingers glided effortlessly over the keys. The only things I don't like about this keyboard are the fact that it doesn't have a card reader slot or a disc drive. However, you can always buy those devices externally. I also dislike the lack of a number pad left and right click buttons on the touch pad. Having to press down on the touchpad itself to click on things is kind of odd and awkward and slows down my work flow at times. The fans can also get a little loud which is not ideal for those who have their laptop in the same room they plan to record audio in. Flaws aside this is still the best laptop I have ever owned and the performance is amazing! It's a very fast workhouse that can handle whatever you throw at it. ... show more

  • Powerful, beautifully sleek, great value.
Style: P65 Creator 15.6"|RTX2060|i7-9750H| Pattern: Single
9750h, rtx 2060, 32gb ram, 1tb ssd, 4K screen. This is the most powerful laptop I’ve ever owned. It would be pointless to have that much power if it weren’t implemented well, though. It delivers far and above what I expected of it. I’m still not sure how they’ve made a laptop this thin that can remain at comfortable temps. Can the fans get loud? Of course. There’s a lot of power in a very thin chassis. Despite disliking chiclet keyboards in general, the typing experience is pretty good. Decent let travel with near zero flex. The build quality is rock solid. The metal chassis adds reassuring rigidity and the screen has minimal flex considering how thin the bezels are. I use it to drive two monitors in addition to the laptop screen. I’ve built my own PCs for years. I was ready to jump in for a portable solution that would be, not only my travel pc, my primary rig at home as well. This laptop delivers. The only criticism I have would be to move the ports to the rear of the machine to provide a cleaner look to my desk and avoid flexing the inputs. Great Machine! ... show more

  • Fantastic Computer, some price point trade-offs.
Style: P65 Creator 15.6"|RTX2060|i7-9750H| Pattern: Single
I will use this laptop for home, work, and travel. Pros: Slim, lightweight, and durable. I'm yet to air travel with this, but I hardly notice the weight in my backpack. Screen clarity is amazing. You see in great detail all the grotesqueness on the Witcher. Monster processing power. I use the latest version of AutoCAD with several windows on multiple screens and its performance is excellent. No noticeable lag. Price point. Black Friday special under $1500. Not sure how long that price will hold, but a value for high end performance. Cons: The built-in sound isn't great. Better than a tin can, but not by much. The fan occasionally revs up like a 747 taxiing the runway. I'm not super computer guy, so I can't get into details about clocking a mili-second faster than this and that. I purchased this to be a tool that I will use hours a day. I need a computer that will be dependable and not cost me time, it will definitely do that with some kick-butt graphics to go with. ... show more

  • A svelte powerhouse for 3D animation and rendering
Style: P65 Creator 15.6"|RTX2060|i7-9750H| Pattern: Single
This is one svelte powerhouse. The 4K screen is sharp and color-accurate. It boots up fast (10 seconds or less), and the Optane memory makes it snappy in opening applications. Build quality is very good and the design is discreet if somewhat uninspiring. This 4K model seems to get 6-7 hours battery life with light use, which I think is very good given the weight, specs, and screen. The powerful CPU and GPU make this a perfect computer for 3D animation and rendering. I have had no problems with thermals. The fans keep it cool when they need to (more quietly than on my 3 year old Dell) and are almost inaudible at other times. Overall, the P65 is an excellent value for the money, especially given the next-gen RTX graphics card. ... show more

  • 1 hr battery life not plugged in, slows down, big battery, basically has to be plugged in & is loud
Style: Creator 17M|GTX1660Ti|i7-9750H Pattern: Single
I was really unimpressed with this to be honest. I had my hopes up that it would be a quality device considering the price, however it's not worth what you pay for it. I will be returning it and buying a MacBook Pro 13" instead which I know will last much longer not plugged in. I read in the description before buying that the battery life not plugged in would last 4-5 hours. However that is NOT the case. When it's fully charged and unplugged the battery only lasts at most about 1 hour & 1/2 unplugged. Anytime it's running it has a loud fan blowing and sounds like it's on it's last breath. The battery pack attached to the cord is the biggest I've ever seen for any computer. I wouldn't want to lug that around. The laptop itself is quite heavy. I don't like the design on it of a dragon. The exterior of it looks like a stainless steel fridge. I've decided after this that I don't really like Microsoft. I tried buying an inverter power supply to plug this into and the reasonably priced one only gave it an extra hour run time, which didn't help because I at least wanted 4 hours. I think this thing fails as a laptop. Because laptops are supposed to be easy to transport and last long without power sources, this fails in both areas. A better name for this would be the "easier to move to a different room desktop," because this thing is easier to move than an actual desk top but still has to be plugged in and basically stay in the same place. I honestly don't know why anyone would want this. On about the 4th use it started to slow down and that's when I said enough is enough I'm throwing in the towel on this one, I've got to return it. This is probably the last time I buy technology that is not name brand. Because others are popular for a reason, their products work better. My mistake was not doing better research on this before purchasing, I took the word of someone getting paid to promote this and turns out they were just lying through their teeth to get their cut. Anyways it's not worth it please don't buy it, unless you like making returns, because it's not a fun process and this product is very disappointing. ... show more
