I actually still have this gaming laptop today after purchasing it a couple of years ago! i decided to leave a review because the laptop is holding on strong. if you are looking for a gaming laptop to get to travel around with I recommend any from MSI! Love the new laptop, I am a gamer and use it just for that. I did by a cooling matte with fans to put under it to keep it extra frosty during high load pulls. But I do love it. Some of the games I play with zero issues thus far include, path of exile, PSO2, ESO to name just a few. Well worth the $ I must say! ... show more

Update after a month or so of playing it.***** The system still handles what im throwing at it fine... but id like to know why the temps are clearing 100*C.. this just seems a tad high on a brand new cpu that has no breakdown on the thermal paste or clogged vents... this is also while running a thermal pad under the cpu. Upgrade kings still to this day have not responded to me in regards to why i received a GF75 instead of a GL75. I'm not sure why but I received a gf75 not a gl75. The worst last about this is thr gf75 I received is actually in all ways a gl75. Because of this I'm not complaining about it, but figured I'd like you know ahead of time. About the review it needs to be on the cool blasters handle anything stressing. The housing was getting hot playing it on factory settings. Changed it to custom 150% cooling at 40% cpu usage to counter it. Past that I play destiny 2 on highest settings it has. Doom eternal can handle everything on highest settings (minus texture panel due to cram limitation.) It's a beast of a machine. ... show more

I bought this laptop around black friday of 2019 at Costco. It's run every game I've ever played, facilitated zoom classes, and traveled with me to work and on vacation. I wanted to see if I could live without a desktop tower and honestly, this has more than proven that I can. Obviously, with laptops you're generally stuck with the components they came with (unless you want to void all warranties) but I'm pretty happy with the internals this unit came with. I do have my unit on an amazon basics riser to give it a few inches of height, and above that is a laptop cooling fan. I also have an external keyboard I use daily as reaching my heightened laptop keyboard would be a major irritation. But ya, this has been a fantastic laptop.
