This board is meant for high end gaming, and for amatuer/junior overclockers. It supports super stable power delivery and voltage regulation for the most thirsty CPUs and GPUs you can find, and has tons of bells and whistles for all your storage drives, accessories, lights, fans, and buttons. The chipset is actively cooled, and there's so many fan headers. So many. The only thing missing is a 10Gbps USB header, but really that's not a big issue since it has two of those in the rear I/O panel: one Type C and one Type A. Adapters can be used to turn the 5Gbps headers into 10Gbps Type C linkages, but of course it'll throttle the speed down to 5Gbps. For overclock enthusiasts, there's a metric duck ton of options for total control and monitoring of your CPU to push it to the limit. It runs cool, it feeds components well, and it looks sickkkkkk. I purchased this board and paired it up with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800x, EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 ti graphics card, and 16GB of Corsair Vengence RGB RAM, what a beast of a machine. I built the machine for streaming my gameplay and it has not disappointed me. Being able to overclock with a couple clicks of the mouse is just too easy. You can save multiple OC profiles and cater to whatever you’re doing. See screenshot of system overclocked. Installation is a breeze and everything is very well documented which even for experienced builders like myself is very nice to see. I did have to use the support site docs because I was using an existing SSD storage device with Windows 10 that was loaded on an older machine with a BIOS. The new UEFI isn’t compatible with an old BIOS so it caused a no boot to OS condition. A quick settings change and I was in business. The LED config and being able to control any LED device that is connected to the proper ports is very cool. Having all of your lights in sync and controlled in one place makes for a beautiful look. I’d recommend this board to anyone, especially gamers. If you want the best performance then use MSI certified compatible items. I got this to replace the cheep motherboard I got before. It was also an upgrade for my CPU too I got a newer model. This motherboard has gave me no problems. I was worried at first cuz the fan on this wasn't spinning so I did a test to see if it's working and it is. The motherboard just doesn't get hot enough to make it spin.     • This mobo fixed my RX590 graphics card issues.
I have the XFX RX590 Fatboy graphics card, and it kept crashing with an ASUS 470 mobo. I heard that the card worked in some other mobos, so I decided to try an upgrade, and BINGO! No more crashing to black screen for me. Went from crashes every 20 to 30 minutes to steady playtime, no crashes.

It ran with my 5900X CPU out of the box without flashing the bios, (first try, that's new) so I was very happy to see that. So far I am very happy with it, it has room to expand what all it can do in the future for me, (All the peripheral plugins). Warning to anyone see this... This Motherboard may or may not support ryzen 5000 series out of the box though, the "5000 series READY" on the box it came in is literally just a sticker, so it is an older model board with factory updated bios maybe? It would be nice if the seller can tell you for sure if your getting a 5000 series ready board or not, so I hope they fix the item description, all I can say is every time I have to update bios I nearly crap myself hoping that it wont become a paper weight, so THANK GOD I didn't have to flash the bios is all I can say and I hope you get one that you don't have to update bios ether. ... show more

This motherboard has worked great with my r7 5800x Hoping to get a gpu soon. still have a r9 390.. Anyway Its a good motherboard has decent IO I think more USB ports would be nice but its not Lacking compared to allot of motherboards. I wish it had wifi/bluetooth on board I was never much for wifi on my desktop but Bluetooth is always nice, and I would like to not have a dongle. ... show more

This motherboard fit my price point, performs well, and has a very easy-to-navigate BIOS. All of the connectors are in pretty standard and easy to reach places and it has been very stable. There aren't any crazy gimmicks, it's just plain great.
