  • Great Power Supply unit, powerful and quiet, I can't complain.

  • Great power supply
Size: 1000W Style: MEG Ai1000P PCIE5
Reviews say this power supply is loud but honestly, I don't know what they're talking about, it's nearly silent and provides great, stable power. It's also relatively compact for a 1000w power supply and the partial digital features (can monitor temps with USB) are amazing. MSI is one of the few companies innovating in the power supply space, definitely a solid contender. ... show more

  • Great PSU
Size: 1000W Style: MEG Ai1000P PCIE5
Great build quality, cables are single sleeved very nice. The only thing I’d improve is the 12v adapter for new GPUs, is plastic sleeved and a little stiff, would be amazing it if was sleeved like the rest of the cables, other than that, great purchase.

  • Quiet, Great Size, 12vhpwr Cable, Monitored
Size: 1000W Style: MEG Ai1000P PCIE5
I was looking for a PSU to replace my current EVGA 850 80watt gold as it doesn’t have a dedicated 12vhpwr lead and I have an EVGA RTX 3090ti. I’ve seen people say the cables are too stiff but I was able to manage the cables for the same number of components I was using with my previous PSU much cleaner with these braided cables. For reference I’m running an Asus z690 motherboard 2x 8 pins 1x 24pin, rtx 3090ti dedicated 12vhpwr, 12 Corsair fans, a h150i lcd Aio, and a Corsair commander pro 1x sata rail covered it all. I have a NZXT H9 Flow that I installed this in. I was able to route cables easier due to the size of this psu being smaller yet 150 more watts. No more 3x8pin to 12vhpwr adapter which allowed me to take out 3 8 pins freeing up some space but regardless the stiffness of the cables wouldn’t have hindered me from cable managing easily. I enjoy being able to monitor the current power usage. I will say the MSI center program doesn’t seem to be the best. I tried to register my psu in the program but was forced to register it on their website. Not a big deal but would have been nice if it just worked in my case. The program seems to use very little resources while running so I am able to keep it open at all times. The build quality is great and something I almost forgot to mention due to the expectation I had from a psu I spent almost double compared to my previous psu purchase. Overall when researching which psu to upgrade to I looked at multiple. Corsair hx1000i, silver stone hela, nzxt c1200g were just a few and I ended up going with MSI which I didn’t expect. The 10 year warranty made it an easy choice as silverstone’s Hela has just a 5 year. Overall I would say I have very much enjoyed my decision and would recommend it to anyone looking to invest in a psu that might be a little more expensive compared to what you’ve bought in the past. ... show more

  • It's perfect.
Size: 1000W Style: MEG Ai1000P PCIE5
The ability to see the temp of my psu just gives me peace of mind. It does get have to get uncomfortably hot until the fan turns on automatically so i keep it at a low rpm speed. Based on the average temps, even with the fan off it's still way way below 'dangerous' levels.

  • Quiet and cool running
Size: 1000W Style: MEG Ai1000P PCIE5
I bought this PCIe 3 power supply for my new PC. The power supply connects to the motherboard via a USB cable for control and monitoring. Most of the time, the power supply fan remains turned off as it operates at lower temperatures. Plenty of connector cords have thinner and more flexible wires thus eliminating the need to buy customer power cables for a see-through PC case. Wires include (2) 8-pin motherboard cables (that have all 8-pins wired, unlike PCIe 8-pin wires that use only 7 of the 8 pins). My motherboard uses (2) 8-pin cables, a 24-pin power cable, and a 6-pin. It also has the 12-pin wire for the 40-series graphics cards. ... show more

  • Great compact power supply
Size: 1000W Style: MEG Ai1000P PCIE5
Specifically purchased for the new PCIE 5 connector going to the new graphic cards. This single connection frees up a lot of space. Installed the software to monitor the new power supply. That was a nice feature and let me setup how I want the fan to operate. My only complaint is the main motherboard cable is not sleeved and handling the multitude of single wires when trying to route and hide that monster bundle was a PITA. The PCIE-5 cable is sleeved, in my opinion, the main power cable should have been too. Overall, I give this power supply 5 stars. I would recommend to anyone. ... show more
