the ad says 12 GB GPU, mine has an 8 GB GPU. I needed 12 GB! This is a really good laptop, issue is they made it too thin for the power it requires, making the required cooling much louder than it needs to be, especially in performance mode. If you try to use it at full power with the battery it'll last about 20 minutes, I often have to do 3D walkthroughs of architectural drawings, and balanced mode or eco mode cause the camera to move slowly or with a large amount of jitter through the model. Putting it in performance mode while unplugged drains the battery very quickly. That said, when plugged in even under heavy load the cooling is sufficient if overly loud. I don't mean blaringly loud, I just mean louder than I would like it to be. I solved the problem for 3D rendering by buying a laptop stand with fans built in, that cut the volume by minimum 1/3, if not by half. ... show more

Pro’s: LED’s are gorgeous, setup/design is decent, actually runs borderlands 4 at launch, battery life is okay, amazing value for money too Con’s: Pretty loud (which is to be expected with gaming laptops), it gets pretty hot too but usually after a few hours of heavy gaming Overall its a pretty decent gaming laptop id recommend for new and experienced gamers. Be aware of this gaming laptop..when this laptop power hooked up on, it runs game fine but cooling system is horrible.. cooling fans makes helicopters sounds. Unbearable.. too noisy.. So I take off power adapter off. And then this so called msi gaming laptop runs medium graphic games on 40 fps... I was too disappointed, mad. That game was NIOH2 which is known for not high demanding game.. I had to return it and wasted my time to get refund back.. This msi gaming laptop shows good sticker performance spec but when it is playing games, it is now working as specs shown on the label.. ... show more
