  • Handles 1440p gaming like a dream
Got this card to replace the lagging 2060 that came in my pre-built. It has been able to run Monster Hunter Wilds and Horizon Forbidden West on ultra settings with ray tracing at highest settings as well. This is at 1440p and 105+ fps and 1% lows above 90 fps. Also the CPU I'm running is a 5700X3D. Like another reviewer said, it's not flat at the bottom which makes it a little tricky to use some aftermarket supports. It comes with it's own support bracket but mine was not completely right angled so the weight of my card didn't actually sit on the bracket. Plus it was painted partially silver/grey and I didn't like that color inside my build so I just use a black screw type support pillar. No coil whine coming from mine, despite some horror stories I've read. Even with fans at 100%, through software adjustment, they're about as quiet as the Noctua fans on my NHU-12A CPU cooler (also compared at 100%) which is really saying something! Mind you I've never seen the fans spin up past maybe 60% even when GPU utilization is consistently 90-95% plus for hours long gaming sessions. I've also not seen temps go above 60C at all but it is winter so the inside of my house is 65-70 fahrenheit and I'm running three 120mm intakes, one 120 mm and two 140 mm exhausts in a Corsair 4000D airflow. ... show more

  • Tears through everything
First thing I want to say, those 180 degree adapters that you see for the 12VHPWR cable don't fit in this card, do you'll have to do a 90 degree cable mod if you want to fix the ugly cable they give you in the box. Also, make sure that you plug in the 12VHPWR cable all the way!! The first two times I tried to boot I thought i recieved a dead card, but when I realised the fans weren't spinning on startup, i checked the connector and sure enought it wasn't secured. Worked fine after that. The card hardley sags at all, even without the included support bracket. I decided not to use it because it clashed with my build aesthetic, and It's perfectly acceptable. Onto gaming, anything that you throw at it will be destroyed. I can finally play THE FINALS without needing any upscaling, running at a consistant 165fps at 1440p. There are plenty of videos and comparisons online, so I won't go into too much detail, but if the suite of NVidia features is something you look for, then this card can defenitely take full advantage of them. Futureproofing is actually the reason I bought this card in the first place. The rtx 5000 series is right around the corner, but if the leaks are true then it doesn't seem to be as great of a generaitonal leap as many of us were hoping for. Having 16gb of VRAM gives this card plenty of headroom as games become more and more demanding, and the more mature rt cores over the rtx 3000 series a significant boost in ray traced titles like Cyberpunk and Indiana Jones. Overall, great card. I'll defenitely be keeping it for many years to come. ... show more

  • Bought for DaVinci Resolve Studio
Bought this for a dedicated content creation PC build using the Studio drivers. I chose this card since it has dual hardware encoders and supports H264, H265, and AV1 acceleration. OBS, Handbrake, and DaVinci Resolve Studio all run fantastic. For 4K editing, I'm hoping this $800 card will last awhile as the requirements shouldn't change much as far as the job goes at this resolution. Also these cards may not stay this price in the future so hopefully it's a worthy investment. ... show more

  • This should get it done..
I was hoping to get a 5080, but after the Nvidia shananagings opted out for the 4070 Ti super. Honestly the 50 series are overhyped. They’re not worth buying unless U get the 5090 w/ 24 GB of VRAM or higher. The 4070 Ti Super should get it done for now, I overclocked it to 3015 MHz by tweaking w/ the MSI mobo bios settings & switched out the fans for the MSI dragon ones. NTS for a 1st time build. 💪🏽 ... show more

  • Really good card, really overpriced.
It's a really good card for 1440p gaming. I can hit 60fps on Cyberpunk at 1440p Ultra with ray tracing maxed with path tracing turned on with DLSS. I bought this over a 7900xt because DLSS is just better than FSR( I can't stand the ghosting) and unfortunately more and more games are being made with upscaling in mind. I mostly don't care about Ray tracing, but occasionally with games like Cyberpunk I would like to do it and now we're occasionally getting games with RT required that can't be turned off. $800 is just too much imo. I got it on sale for $740 which is why I pulled the trigger. Thats not MSI's fault obviously though, that's Nvidia. As for this exact model of the card, it's good. The fans are really good. Even when I'm stressing it with full RT in Cyberpunk it's fan speed in the Nvidia app never has to breach 50% to keep the card cool. I have no complaints about MSI's design of the card. They even include a gpu brace, which is nice because holy crap is it big. I upgraded from the 2080 super and it looks like the difference between a switch and a ps4. ... show more

  • Amazing card
Amazing frame rates, comes with an optional support bracket. Comes with an included adapter for the power supply. Only complaint is that the power cable comes out at 90 degrees and almost contacts my mid-size case. Hopefully someday a company figures out that a different connection would be better.

  • Best Value Card, period.
11700K no oc 32gb DDR4 3600 CL16 MSI Ventus 3X 4070ti Super 16gb Win10 Pro Solid card that lets me max any game at 1440p (w/ DLSS Quality/FrameGen). The same games people complain and give bad reviews to because of all these bugs and issues seem to run fine on my pc. Sucks that the industry as a whole is like that but at least this card seems to insulate me from so much jank. Update: Still a perfect 1440p card. Watching the disastrous 50 series launch and AMD still not keeping up with Ray Tracing I can only smile that I picked EXACTLY the right card at the right time. If you can get one of these still by any means, do it. It literally plays everything maxed out at 1440p at my preferred 72 fps. Ahhh the joy of maxing settings with no concerns. PCMR FTW!!! ... show more
