Let me start by stating I did not need nor want another laptop at this time. I am perfectly happy using my Linux Desktop. I hate Windows and stopped using Windows after trying Linux 10 years ago and never looked back . . . but I need to take a proctored exam and the software is only supported by Windows and Mac. That being said I have to say I am 100% satisfied with this laptop (even running Windows). The outside is no frills unlike the giant MSI laptop I had before with the aluminum case. This case is pretty basic but to be honest I feel it might be more durrable, less prone to scratching or denting. I like where the power outlet is, very back of the left side which is out of the way. I also like how there is one high speed USB port on the right where I plug in my mouse dongle, and one high speed USB port and one standrard USB port on the left where I prefer to plug in any removable drives. The laptop opens nice and smooth, and the keyboard is the best I have seen or used on a laptop, love the accented keys even with the backlighting off. Very mild backlighting, perfect for viewing without being distracting like other backlit keyboards. Power button was hard to find at first but is in a perfect place, in fact incorporating a narrow number pad was ingenius. I could not have asked for a better design and have to give MSI standing Kudos. I have always been a fan of MSI MB's (Mother Boards / Main Boards) but after using Linux have also have become a fanboy of AMD CPU's & GPU's, especially integrated APU chips such as the Ryzen-5. I have always ran into one issue or another using Intel and NVidia chipsets while running Linix and all of that stopped after upgrading my desktop to a Ryzen-5 system. I am most excited about this laptop so I could have the best of both my worlds (MSI+AMD). And in case you are wondering why the AMD is so important if I am running Widows and not Linux one might ask himself? It's because as soon as I am done with this proctored exam I am going to reformate the drive and install Linux (Manjaro Linux with KDE Desktop). ... show more

First month in and I'm really enjoying this laptop. I have no problem running games on ultra settings, even for intensive graphics games like AC Odyssey, Witcher, etc. Fast boot. Stunning graphics. The sound isn't that great, but it's a laptop, it's always trash. Fans are a bit loud, well, more than a bit. Imagine a jet taking off, in your lap. Limited customization, especially with the backlit keyboard, and BIOS. Feels like the monitor lid is flimsy and could be easily damaged. Otherwise, it's certainly responsive and I'm satisfied for the most part.

I love this laptop. I am a gamer and for me it works perfectly. I can have 3 clients open at once and play 3 different accounts with no problems. It does get hot so get yourself a cooling pad. The back lit keyboard is nice. Great for a starter laptop for gamers.

i was honestly just recommended this by a friend who thought i might like it persay turns out i honestly hated it i kept getting glitches it kept freezing up and so many other problems including getting a repeated blue screen situation out of no where literally not even 1 hour in of using it the only good part was me literally returning it and eventually getting the long awaited refund which even that took way too long to process even after they got it back in my opinion otherwise as far as my two cents go highly highly dont recommend it especially if its something your not use to and if it has 1 million problems like the one i got brand new in box when it clearly shouldve been labled as damaged with all the blue screens i got within not even the first hour of using it along with it being buggy as it very much was granted maybe this was just the one i got otherwise if it were me i wouldnt buy this tbh but end of the day its the consumers decision if they want to buy something or not otherwise me personally was very dissatisfied with this order and how long it did take to get the refund processed as is >:( ... show more

Computer Looks Nice and works good but I'm not a fan of windows 11. This was my first experience with it and it makes you bow to the Microsoft Gods. I will dump this OS soon and install Linux instead. Word to the wise, Don't upgrade or buy anything with this OS.
