Pros: 1. Cost 2. Silk-screening is easily visible (look at Asus and you will know what I'm talking about) 3. Robust Power delivery supporting up to Ryzen 9 Gen 2-3 with ample airflow. 4. RGB12V headers on top and bottom as well as support for RGB RAM and GPUs to control in Mystic Link (MSI products not required). 5. High RAM speed support (especially for Zen+). I am running 32GB Single Rank x2 Crucial Ballistix 3200mHz MAX RGB overclocked to 3600mHz with no instability. Plus Zen supports ECC ram (if you're looking for stability) 6. Plenty of PWM fan headers (no DC, but obviously supports it via BIOS). 7. Active support from MSI and frequent BIOS updates to support newer features coming out (such as Resize BAR for GPUs). 8. RGB on back of motherboard (if that's your thing). 9. MSI Warranty Support is great. 10. USB C & A at 3.1 speeds! Great for VR! No PCIe USB expansion card needed! Tested with Oculus Rift S, Quest (1), Vive (old version), and Valve Index! 11. Support for Zen 3 Support! 12. Cooling Solution for VRM is robust and does a great job keeping the VRMs cool during overclocks! Cons: 1. No RGB5V support (if that's your thing). 2. SATA ports are hard to reach if your GPU is installed (bottom ports aren't used if you use NVMe. 3. VRM cooling solution is frustrating for wiring things like fans + RGB12V headers. I had to strategically run them through the heatsinks (they're double stacked and look neat, but are difficult to deal with). 4. No NVMe heat shield (but for the price can you really complain?). I purchased an aftermarket one in gun metal grey and it matches the board. Great board for long term Zen users. Due to market pricing on CPUS, its a good solution for someone with a Ryzen G bin with integrated graphics until the better chips drop in price! ... show more

I was one of those people affraid of buying it used. I took a chance and bought it and it worked out great. It look basically brand new out the box. I installed all my parts wired it all up and it absolutely worked great. It immediately recognize all the parts everything worked great. I haven't been able to properly use this board yet, as it was seemingly incompatible with my Ryzen 3 3200G out of the box. The board did at least turn on and light up so I can say that much. My more tech savvy, (and vastly smarter than me) friend suggested that I needed to update the BIOS with an older CPU, so I am waiting for another CPU to come in the mail so I can try this. Really disappointed, as I would have hoped that an "Amazon Renewed"/refurbished motherboard would have shipped with the updated BIOS. Assuming that this does turn out to be the solution to my problem, I would say it was not worth the money considering I had to spend extra money to fix it. UPDATE: DO NOT BUY THIS. At least not refurbished from this seller. Upon receiving the second CPU I have been able to determine the motherboard itself was the problem. Trying multiple CPUs and none of them were detected by the motherboard. $150 for a borked CPU, total junk. I've adjusted my score from 2 stars to 1 star for this reason. ... show more
