Yes, the fingerprint reader works great! After install, I did NOT turn up sensitivity. That was on point for all other functions already. All I did was add my SAME fingerprint again, without deleting the original one (from before installing this protector). I really wish they made a matte version of this, so as to resist fingerprints and glare better, but as is, it's no worse than the phones actual screen. IMPORTANT: All of the ad pictures make it look like there is no front/selfie camera cutout. There is, U-shaped style. 😔 Personally, I wanted a solid glass, that's why I decided on this particular protector. So I was bummed about that.. I mean it would look better being solid for sure, and would it really be any different than putting those glass protectors over the rear camera lenses? It would also make it easier to keep that area clean.. Oh, I realize this phone has an ever so slight bevel at the edge, so maybe the protector can't go all the way. But it definitely could've been cut a smidge larger. And it would've still been case friendly, I'm sure. Install was a breeze. I didn't even try to get in a dust free area, and it still went on perfect. There are no fancy alignment trays or anything, but if you take 45 seconds to watch the install video, you should have it done in 3 minutes total. ... show more

FITS INSIDE PERIMETER OF OTTERBOX DEFENDER. Honestly, this was most of what I was worried about. Beyond that, it's a nice clean thin glass screen cover which is simple and easy to apply. When I received it and saw the packaging I realized that it's the same company I ended up using (and being content with) for my previous phones, also. Can't comment on fingerprint; I use other security methods. Hadn't noticed a glare problem, other than that clear glass is reflective, always has been.... so I duck the screen under my shadow if I can't see it, in direct sunlight. But my last 3 phones have been set up to see well enough in full light. In short, it's not more glaring than the screen it's protecting. I'll use this company again. ... show more

If you are buying this screen protector strictly so that you can use the fingerprint unlock, I would keep looking. It functions easier than my old screen protector, but it still has a lot of frustrating misses. I would say it's accurate about half the time. That said, if you are just looking for any old screen protector, these ones will do the job. They are packaged well with everything you'll need and budget friendly. EDIT: Down to a 1 star, don't waste your money, this things never works with the thumbprint ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have a Google Pixle 7. Needed protection for it fast and cheap. This is cheap but it works and feels good. Installation will be a pain if you want perfection. Does not have a guide, as advertised, and there is no hole cutout for the front camera, as advertised. I've used 2 on the fist install. First one was practice. Second one was perfected. Nice solid piece of fake glass. No air bubbles with a clean screen. Will use until it is destroyed, then I will pay a little more attention to quality on the next purchase. No issue with touch screen functions. Fingerprint works. Most newer android phones will have a setting to adjust feedback on touch screens when a screen protector has been added. ... show more
