I was VERY impressed with this umbrella. It was weightier than I expected, but still light enough (and compact) for my daughter to carry around in her backpack. It opens and closes with a i single button and is so easy to pack away into the cover. The metal ribs are very sturdy and durable. I could see this holding up even in windier rain storms, which i can't say for most compact umbrellas. The handle has a wrist strap for carrying which is a nice feature. The color purple is soooo pretty and just as advertised. It will help my daughter to not mix up her umbrella as most kids carry a black or marroon umbrella. I love this umbrella as it is compact, lightweight and opens and closes easily. The quality is really good and looks durable. It has a comfortable grip and the attached wrist strap secures it really good. It has a good price point. I definitely recommend it.

This is the perfect travel umbrella. It is small enough to throw into you bag and bring on vacation ready for rain. It includes a slip cover but the real beauty is the easy open with the push of a button. The same button will also automatically close the umbrella requiring only your compressing the support pole to return it to the closed state.
