Easy to open (push button) and close (push button again). But it reset it takes some muscle power. May be too difficult for some people.

The umbrella is very nice. It has a button you push on the handle to automatically open it. The same button will close the actual umbrella but in order to bring the pole in and compact it completely you have to put a ton of pressure onto it and push it together really hard. My 7 year old has a hard time doing this particular part. All in all it's a great umbrella and holds up pretty well to stronger winds. ... show more
