I really enjoy these brushes, and I wish I'd had them when I started with my first set of models, because they work wonders. I wanted to give them a 4.9, but can't do a partial number, and I'll explain. They are amazingly comfortable to work with, the bristles stay together very well, they are insanely great for fine details (At least the 1-000 ones are). Legit the ONLY issue I've had from them to date is that when you're wiping the brush on a paper towel or rag to get the excess paint off, or to clean them, the bristles will develop a 10-15 degree tilt from the ferrule (the metal bit that holds them to the brush shaft). Wipe them in the opposite direction and it levels out straight away, but that implies that they may not be held quite as firmly as could be desired. That said, for the price, these things are amazingly good, and unlike other brushes I've had, they don't shed bristles. For a beginner, I'd certainly suggest picking them up.

They do what they are supposed to do, and seem to hold up well and are very fine. I have only used them twice. They are easy to hold, but they are very noisy! I was trying to secretly paint something for my moms birthday and boy where they chirping! When they touch each other you can automatically tell that they are paint brushes, which maybe that means the quality of the wood (or whatever it is) isn’t the best but, then again, I didn’t expect the finest materials either. I am more than satisfied with them.
