    • Just what I wanted with a downside!

Watch what you buy. This is exactly what I was looking for and at first glance checked all the boxes for our guest room. It can hold two 6" mattresses nicely stacked atop each other with no problems and was the right color. The downside - it's a toe slayer! Never had I owned a bedframe with a support bar on the edge, in the middle of the bedframe. I have hit the joker several times while making the bed and have resorted to taking two thick pairs of my husband's black socks and placing them securely around that center support to save my toes! It helps. I'm not one for returning things, but I would choose differently if I was to do it again. ... show more

    • Very good, but also kinda dangerous.

I would give this frame 5 stars for what it's made for. It's a great bedframe and is sturdy as heck. BUT, that's also the reason it's dangerous. The corners are so sharp that more than one person has cut themselves on their shins tripping on it. Also we've bruised our shins too many times for the same reason. The corners should be ROUNDED to make it more safe. Then we have the legs, which should be INSET because of their thickness. But they're not, they're right on the edge, which catches our toes will eventually end up with one of us breaking a toe. Also, because they're not inset, I cannot push my bed up directly to the wall, which leads to my pillow always falling down into the crack. Very annoying. And because of its sturdiness, it's too much work to take it apart to return it, so while I started a return, I didn't want to go through the issue of taking it all apart again, so we're keeping it. I have to put pool noodles on the corners so we stop hurting ourselves though, and it looks ridiculous. But it's sturdy AF, so I can give it that. I can't complain on that part. And it's a little low to the ground for a bedframe/boxspring for my liking, as well. But that part I've gotten used to. ... show more

Assembly can be tricky and it really isn't as easy as the instructions make it sound and extra people make it much easier and faster. However, once together, it's sturdy, solid and comfortable (once you put a mattress on top of course). Overall I would buy it again and make sure assistance was available first to make it quicker. ... show more

This bedframe is bigger than my queen mattress and leaves 3-5 inches of leftover room on each side, which makes it a little awkward to get in to. Otherwise, it was very easy to put together, only took about an hour and a half! It seems sturdy and I'm confident it'll hold for a few years. They also sent extra screws and support bar clips for each piece, which was nice. ... show more
