I have a dog that does not like crates. I got this as an alternative to an indoor crate. I did not put the top on, giving it an open feel. My dog will go in willingly and no resistance. It is sturdy and well made. It was easier with two people to assemble. I placed a dog bed in it, and now it is her private room. I do not have to use the included food and water bowls because I use it indoors. If I was to use it outdoors, the top cover and bowls would be a great benefit. The bowls actually attach to the side with sturdy connectors. The finish seems a good enough quality to last outside. This has been great for my dog that does not do well in standard crates. Great find!

I have experience with this brand from their desks, so I didn't hesitate to try out their dog kennel. Overall, it's a decent kennel for the price. Assembly wasn't too difficult, which was a plus. However, the panels are a bit flimsy—depending on your pet's size and strength, they might push them around. It's a good option for a temporary setup, but if you're looking for something more durable or long-term, you might want to consider other options.

I loved how easy and clear the instructions were to read and follow. I was able to have it fully assembled in about 30 minutes. All of the parts were labeled correctly and easy to find. It is made with durable thick materials and is very stable and secure.

This is nice for a smaller animal. In the pictures above, I do not have the cover in place. The cover is a material that appears to be water resistant and is held in place by a center bar and a set of bars for each end. I have this inside a larger cage that is covered due to this the digging habits of this animal. The wire panels are fairly sturdy. The door has a simple latch that is easy to use. The latch is only on the outside of the door. You will need to reach through to open the door. It also has a neat little door next to the main door that rotates. It will close itself by spinning around after the animal goes through. I’ve not seen a door like it before. I think it’s a great idea. The panels can be moved without much effort. That is great for me because I move cages around based on what animals I have at the rescue at the time. This is a great for a smaller animal and I am very happy with how well it has met my needs.

I got this to use as an outdoor play area for my rabbits since there are so many cats and vultures around my area. This enclosure worked perfectly for them and gave them plenty of room to zoom around. For a dog, I don't think it would be enough room at all, but for small animals it works great. The material seems very sturdy and durable and it wasn't that hard to put together.

The roof, incidentally, is great for light rain. Whether it provides protection from the sun is, of course, a bit more variable and depends on where in the sky the sun is. It's about 4'x4', so unless your dog is TINY, not a lot of running is going to happen in there. It IS a perfectly acceptable enclosure for a few to several hours outside in good weather. I would be cautious of how the food/water bowls are positioned, as clinical evidence indicates that raised dishes can lead to gastric distress in dogs, but the rotating panel is pretty handy. I've got this one set up at my parents' home, which doesn't have a fenced in back yard, so that the dog can be outside with us without having to be on a leash. I imagine this will be fantastic once the weather warms up a bit more, but it's not bad for brief stints even in the cold.

This is a nice and sturdy dog kennel. It wasn't terrible to assemble and is easy enough to move around and place where you want it. Ample room for a small or medium size dog and I like the included accessories. That being said, I think calling the "roof" a roof or "heavy duty" is a bit of a stretch as it is just a fabric piece. The kennel still looks nice and functions well though and the price is on par with anything I can buy locally.
